Nine players who contributed to some of the best Pinecrest girls’ soccer teams in the history of the program will be honored at this evening’s Senior Night match against Douglas Byrd. The game time is 7 p.m. The undefeated (twice tied) Patriot junior varsity team is idle. The varsity and jayvee teams will complete the regular season with a make-up match at Scotland County on Friday. On Monday, the Patriots moved to 12-0 in the conference and 16-2-2 overall with an 11-0 victory at Seventy-First (2-11, 6-12). Freshman LaTanya Cain led the way with three goals and two assists as the Patriots scored 10 times in the first half. Other goal scorers were Katie Fields (two), Megan Cole (two), Ann Fields, Kristen Anderson and Lauren Broderick.
