The Pinecrest girls’ soccer team completed the regular season at 19-1-1 following a 3-0 non-conference victory at Chapel Hill on Thursday.      The Patriots, the 10th ranked 4-A team in the state in this week’s coaches’ poll will play a second-round state tournament game at home late next week. As the champion of the Mid-Southeastern Conference, they received a first-round bye.      The win over the Tigers was a team record tying 15th shutout of the season.      Lauren Broderick scored the only goal of the first half with the aid of an assist by Erin Cooper. In the second half, Stephanie Carter had the assist on a goal by Stacey Blanchard and Ann Fields scored off an assist by Krystal Haas. The team’s 116 goals for the season also ties a team record.      The Patriots junior varsity beat the Tigers 2-1 to finish the season with a record of 14-0.
