The Pinecrest boys' soccer team notched its eighth shutout of the season in a 5-0 victory at Seventy-First Wednesday evening.      The win moves the Patriots to 6-0 in the Mid-Southeastern Conference and 8-5-2 overall. The Falcons fall to 3-3 in the league and 6-7 overall.      Gabe Bruno (two), Mike Hinerth, Ivan Andrade and Jonathan Gribben scored for the winners, while Erik Hayworth recorded the game's only assist.      Goalkeepers' Rashad Gatling and Jonathan Shute combined for the shutout.      In other matches Wednesday, Jack Britt (5-1 record) defeated Scotland County (3-3) by the score of 2-1, Richmond County (4-2) defeated Hoke County (2-4) 2-1, and Douglas Byrd (1-5) defeated Westover (0-6) 4-1.      Next Monday, Pinecrest entertains Douglas Byrd in a 7 p.m. league contest. Wednesday's game at home against Scotland is Youth Soccer League Night.
