Light fades, Day dies, Night is reborn....
What are My Memories?
A girl tormented by Insomnia, by happenstance, landed in a little box called BeSeen...
Never having visited a chat room before, she spanned the path wearily and causiously...
Her eyes were fresh and inocent, unknowing...
Soon enough she was blasted and scared by those who could "trace her IP" But she forged forward anyway, pushed by her wakefulness, wanting to fill the lonely hours when "real" people slumbered...
She was quickly aquainted with many creatures with wierd and humorous names...
She met RedTails, Pims, Rainys, Arsons, Jazzy Cats, Filthy Animals, Vamps, and even Death...
Slowly these "creatures" became friends... and even slower still, these friends became People...
Real, Live People... Whom shared simular likes and dislikes... whom one could delve into long debates on critical and not so critical issues... People in which she could pass the long hours of twilight with... and forget...
Forget that sleep was her tormenter...
During those same Twilight hours, soon after her arival at BeSeen, she met an Angel®... and her long, fearful nights suddenly brightened...
These are My memories...
Hours spent in conversations and fantacy... Imaginary snowball fights and swimming in floods...
Smoking ciggys and sharing cups of midnight coffee... Speaking outrageous things, more likely than not, would never be spoken in "real" life...
Meeting young and old alike on her jouney... Views never before thought of suddenly coming to life...
Waiting in anticipation for certain ones to appear... Feeling elation when they did...
*Giggles* and *grins* and *smiles* and *LOL* and *RoFtL* always filled the air of BeSeen... and the ever pressing question *a/s/l?*...
New ones came... some faded away... Few stayed and became true members of this highly disfunctional, yet very welcoming family...
This Family consisted of every race, creed, and belief...
Some were Fatherly figures, others, the grannys of the clan... most, ornate brothers and sisters... And just like in real life, some siblings ya got along with and others... well, ya just didn't... But still, you tolerate one another because, you are related after all... *laughs*...
And We ARE realted... ALL of us... Not by blood or genes, but something even stronger than that, we are all related by need...
One of Angel®'s favorite questions once was,
"Why have you come here?"
There were many diverse answers, but all of the same root... NEED...
Need for conversation, Need for diversity, Need to waste time... Need to reach out to the world in some form or manner to feel a part of something much bigger than themselves... Need to forget reality for a while... Whatever the answer, it always equiled NEED...
I, for one, found fullfillment here... I also found many friends and a very special Angel®...
Looking back, Now that our time is ending... I realize that I have been the most blessed by BeSeen...
For though my days in this place are ending... I have made relationships that stemed from this little room, that are now permanent and "real"... and most of all, I have been blessed to have my most favorite "Chat Friend" come home to me, and become my husband...
BeSeen will forever live in my memory and my heart... and no matter how hard you try for it not to... It will forever live in yours as well...

Fairwell my dear friends, May your paths be smooth, your voyage swift... and may the parting of the seas never keep us apart...
