How has Hurricane Isabel affected the wedding plans?!?!

As I'm sure all of you are aware, on September 18th, Hurricane Isabel made landfall on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The eye of the storm hit not too far south of where we have made plans to have our wedding. So far it appears that the wedding will go on as planned. The folks at the rental company say that there is minimal damage to the house and repairs have already begun. We will continue to follow up on the progress and update this page we get information. So far, information indicates that there was not very much significant property damage in the Currituck County Outer Banks (that's us). The beaches have already been re-opened to the public. If you have made reservations for a house for the wedding, I would strongly suggest contacting the your rental company for information. Other than our house for the wedding the only specific lodgin status that we have is that the Hampton Inn is re-opening for business tomorrow (September 23rd).

September 29, 2003. I spoke with the people at the rental company again, they confirmed that the damage to the house was minimal and that repairs have already begun. They also told me that there was a wedding there the weekend of 9/22.
