Chaper 15
"Mommy.... I don't... want ...to get up..." Katie said as someone was
shacking her trying to wake her up.
The person just laughed and started to tickle her hard.
She opened her eyes between giggles to find the person was Nick. Once
she saw him she pretended hug him but she tackled him instead. She was now
on top of him, strattled. Surprisingly she was in a good mood haveing it be
in the morning.
"Nicky, you've come to wake me up," She said in a baby voice pinching
his cheeks.
"Yea," He said picking her up off him, "Get ready, were going scuba
divin'"
"O.k turn your back, I'm gonna get dressed," As she said this she
turned him around.
After she was done puting her bathing suit on she fixed her hair then
brushed her teeth. She then said bye to her mom and they were out the door.
"You know, kat, I'm a licenced scuba diver." Nick said bragging while
driveing the boat out to a coral reef.
"You know, I'm not," Prentending to brag also but it diddn't work. They
both were soon in a fit of giggles.
As katie was putting her fins on she told nick, "Nick I have to warn
you. If I see a Sting Ray I am so gonna flip. So beware."
"I'll protect you, kate, after all I'm a strong manly man," Nick said
in his macho voice.
Katie giggled then went over to him to feel his muscle, she was not
surprised to find thm big and buff. "Nick, wow, you are buff!" Katie told
him seriously.
Nick blushed. Katie saw him. She went over to him to help him zipper up
the top of his wet suit.
"Nick-Nack, you go in first- check for sting rays..." She said pouting,
"Then catch me when I jump in.
"O.k," Nick jumped in and swam around for a little while then he came
up out of the water and took his mouthpiece out and said, "its clear,
c'mon I'll catch you now, k?"
"O.k, Nicky, you better not drop me," She jumped and he caught her
right in his arms. He didn't let her go he was just looking into her eyes.
She laughed nervously and he pun her down. They swam around for along time.
They saw all different kinds of pretty fish and coral. They even say a baby
dolphin with its mama. After about 45 minutes they came up for air at the
boat.
"I just love the ocean and everything in it. Its all so beautiful,"
Katie commented looking over at the ocean.
Nick was looking right at her and simply replied, "yea", Then he came
closer to her so that he was like right behind her...
