We are the Reese family! Eddie and Sherry met when she was a freshman at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and he was a junior at N.C. State University in Raleigh, NC in 2000. They were introduced by an old friend of Eddie's who was a new friend of Sherry's, and they dated throughout college. Eddie studied forest management and graduated in 2001. He went to work for the North Carolina Forest Service in Elizabeth City, NC, which is in northeastern NC just below the areas of Chesapeake/Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA. Sherry studied politics/pre-law and graduated in 2003.
These two became one on June 21, 2003 in a lovely ceremony performed by Sherry's father, a minister, in her small church surrounded by family and friends. They lived in Elizabeth City for the first two years of marriage and enjoyed making their small rental house a home! They purchased their first home together for their 2nd wedding anniversary and moved to the small town of Hertford on the Albemarle Sound.
In 2006, they were very excited to discover that they would soon be parents. They shared the news with their parents and a host of family and friends. On March 27, 2007, they welcomed the arrival of their son, James Evan, and their lives have never been the same!
They now make their home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
