Meeting Zelda
Now that you've collected ALL the special stones, let's go back to see Zelda! As you approach the castle, maybe you'll notice that the torches on the castle are lit, and the drawbridge is up, which is excessively odd, especially if you're going during the day! And as you gets closer, it suspiciously get dark and starts raining. Well, when you get close enough to the castle, you'll see why. The drawbridge will lower and a white horse carrying Impa and Zelda will gallop by... just like in your dream! Zelda will throw something that lands in the moat. Then Ganondorf will be behind you and ask where they went. You, being the hero you are, don't tell him, but instead prepare to fight. Ganondorf finds this amusing and zaps you. Then runs off to find them. When the cinematic experience is over, you'll find yourself back in front of the castle with the normal, cheerful music. I didn't find that very appropriate. Anyway, go jump in the moat and find what it is that Zelda had thrown. It's the Ocarina of Time! Then through some psychic connection, Zelda will tell you that she couldn't wait any longer. But she will show you the Song of Time and tell you to play it in front of the altar in the Temple of Time. So what are you waiting for?? Hop to it!
The Temple of Time is in Hyrule Market. When you enter, go to the right and towards the back. You'll see some steps that lead to the courtyard of the Temple of Time. Go on in. Stand on the carpet in front of the steps and play the newly-learned Song of Time. The three Spiritual Stones will float above you then go to their spots on the table. The Door of Time shall open; go in and in the middle of the room is a sword in a stone. Navi will recongize it as the Master Sword. Go up there and pull it out of the stone. Suddenly, Ganondorf will start laughing! He's been following you! He says he knew you had the keys to the Door of Time and that he now has access to the Sacred Realm... All because of you. (Gee, talk about a guilt trip.)
You awaken when someone calls your name. This is Rauru. He'll tell you where you are and that you've been there for seven years! When you pulled the Master Sword from the Pedastal of Time, that meant you were the Hero of Time! But you were too young at the time, so you've been asleep for seven years. Now you're old enough to hold that title. But remember Ganondorf? He's gotten into the Sacred Realm and taken the Triforce! Since he's a man of evil, Hyrule has taken a plunge for the worse. You must awaken the five sages, only their powers combined can destroy the evil Ganondorf has let loose. Rauru gives you his power through a medallion, then sends you on your way. You're then transported back to the Temple of Time where Navi realizes that since you're grown up, you won't be able to use some of the weapons you could as a child. Then on your way out, you sense someone behind you. You turn around, prepared to fight, then he tells you he's been waiting for you. He introduces himself as Sheik, last of the Sheikah people. He tells you of the different sages and that you must awaken them. The first temple on your list is the Forest Temple...protected by someone we already know? But first, he says, he must go to the Kakariko Village. So head on, Hero of Time!
