PEBBLES OF THE PARKS

In September of 2013 I took a solo road trip from St Petersburg, FL to the American west, touring ten parks in
New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. In each of the parks I visited I collected five pebbles. After returning
home I constructed five Pebbles Of The Parks souvenir sets to give as gifts to the friends who had followed my
progress along my journey and to friends who have, in the past, asked me to bring them souvenir rocks from the
places I visit.



The graphics used to represent the ten parks were made using digital photographs that I took on my trip.
The frames were made of poplar painted with a semi gloss black spray enamel. The graphics & pebbles are displayed
behind a pane of glass.
