A GLASS TOPPED COFFEE TABLE FOR MY CABIN

Shortly after deciding that I wanted a glass topped coffee table for my cabin in the hills, a nearly flawless
30" by 50" by 1/2" table top appeared in the alley by my house. Neighbors moving out of a garage apart-
ment had discarded the table top and several other nice items, leaving them in the alley for anyone who
wanted them. So I snagged the table top and a floor lamp and lugged them inside. It took a few months
to settle on a design for the oak base but once construction began the work went quickly.
