Over the next few days everything was cleared up. Amanda explained everything to Megan, but she couldn't forgive her. Nick and Amanda were together. She became friends with Criss and got a job- finally. She was working at Kmart, but hey, it was money.
Nick was leaving on a states tour in 2 weeks so she spent all of her free time with him. She didn't want to leave and touring with him was not an option.
Nick and her were sitting on the swing in his backyard watching the sunset. She leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. She's wanted this for a long time and now she finally got it.
"I really don't want you to leave in 2 weeks Nick."
"I don't want to leave you either. But I places to be, people to see, and fans to please." he said the last part in the goofiest voice.
Amanda cracked a smile.
"It's so pretty out here tonight."
"Not as pretty as my girl."
"That was corny, but sweet."
"I'm not sure to take that as a compliment or not."
Amanda just smiled and enjoyed watching the sunset with Nick. She laid her head on his head and closed her eyes. He played with her hair, twirling it around his finger. They stayed like that for hours not saying a word. They both feel asleep in his backyard, with each other.
