CHAPTER TWO

"Yes I'm serious!!!" I yelled through the phone to Heather.

"I just can't believe you are getting married." she said sweetly.

"I can hardly believe it myself. It feels like only yesterday I met Nick at the movie theater for the first time. Now it's almost four years later and I'm marrying him!" I stated excitedly.

"Have you guys figured out a date yet?"

"No, not yet. I want to get married on our anniversary, but like Nick said, that's a long time. Wouldn't it be cool to get married on Christmas?"

"Yeah, too bad you live in Florida. Then you could have a wedding with snow!!It's already getting cold up here, but I'm enjoying it."

"Snow? Nuh uh. I rather have my nice and warm weather then freezing my butt off and plowing through the snow." I said smiling.

"If you want. Well, I've got to now and go to class. Shouldn't you be going to class too?"

"Yeah I should, but Nick and I are going to spend the day together."

"Awww, how sweet. Have a good day with Nick. Tell him I said Hi."

"Yup. Talk to ya later."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I didn't know that while I was talking to Heather, Nick was up and was listening. I turned around to be kissed square on the lips by him.

"Hm. I could get used to that." I said with a smile plastered across my face.

"So could I," Nick said with a laugh.

"So, I said while Nick pulled me back into his arms, what should we do today?"

"I thought we could go to class and study all day." He said sounding serious.

I just looked at him and he said, "I was just kidding."

"Sure you were Nicky."

"Well, I thought we could go shopping for some..umm...accessory's, if you get my drift."

"Yes I get your drift and I know how your mind works, so I decline that plan."

"You're no fun."

"I know, but you can think of what we are going to do today while I take a shower."

A sly grin appeared on Nick's face when I mentioned I was going into the shower.

"No way Nick. I'm taking this shower a-lone."

"Whatever you say sweetie."

"Wait, I don't have any clothes here. I'm going to go back to my dorm and get some stuff. You take a shower when I leave so when I get back I can take one without having to wait for you to take one afterwards."

"Sounds like a bad plan to me, but I guess."

"Good." I said, then walking out of Nick's room. I went to my dorm to find it empty. I grabbed my navy blue duffel bag and threw in my toothbrush, some makeup, some clothes, and a hairbrush. I cleaned up some of my room since it was a total mess and made my bed. About 15 minutes later I was in the hall where Nick's room was. I didn't bother to knock and just walked straight in saying "I'm back Nick."

I didn't think Nick would be out of the shower so fast and I really didn't expect him to be so jumpy. I scared him a little and the towel he was holding around his waist fell to the floor.

"Oh my god Nick. I'm sorry." I said covering my eyes.

Nick picked up the towel, put it back around his waist, and said "Well, you would've seen me sooner or later like this," with a laugh.

I uncovered my eyes and said, "I thought you were still in the shower, that's why I didn't knock, I just came right in."

"It's ok Lisa. I'm going to get some clothes on and then you can get in the shower."

"All right." I put my bag on the ground and grabbed my stuff, waiting for Nick to finish. About 5 minutes later Nick was out and I took my shower. As I was stepping out of the shower there was a knock on the bathroom door. I quickly wrapped myself in a towel and opened the door.

"What?" I asked.

"Are you almost done?"Nick asked impatiently.

"I just have to dry myself off and get some clothes on. Give me 10 minutes."

"Need any help?" he asked grinning.

"As a matter of fact I do."

"Really?" Nick said thinking that I needed him to help me get dressed or something.

"Yeah, could you give me your blow dryer so I can dry my hair?" I told him.

Nick's smile left his face and said," Uh, sure."

"Nick, I'm just kidding. I'll be out in 10 minutes." I said shutting the door.

I dried off and slipped on my clothes. I ruffled my hair with the towel and walked out of the bathroom to see Nick sitting on his bed reading some sports magazine.

"Interesting?" I asked.

"Huh? " he said puzzled.

"The magazine. Is it interesting?"

"Oh. I guess."

A little concern, I asked, "Is something wrong Nick? I didn't hurt you feelings a few minutes ago did I?"

"No," he said with a smile. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure." Nick got up and came over to me giving me a kiss on the lips.

"So, what do you want to do today?"

"Um, we can...go to Disney World for the day."

"That sounds like fun! You ready to leave now?"

"Yeah."

"Ok, let me put my hair in a clip and we can get out of here."

Nick and I spent the whole day at Disney World. I enjoyed myself immensely. We went on about every ride and had a nice, romantic dinner there too. It was getting late by the time we got back. I forgot I had stuff still at Nick's and Nick walked me back to my room.

"Are you sure you don't want to spend the night at in my room?" Nick asked me.

"Yeah I'm sure. Thanks for today Nick. I had fun."

"Me too." We smiled at each other before giving each other a kiss goodnight. I opened the door to my room and stepped in. It was dark so I flipped on the light switch, turing it right back off immediately. I closed the door and went back out in the hall. I saw Nick at the end of the hall and called out, "Hey Nick?"

"Yeah?"

"Is your offer still available?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded yes. I walked over to him and he took his hand in mine.

"Why did you change your mind?"

"Sarah's getting umm....friendly in there." I said before bursting out laughing.

"Are you kidding?"

I nodded no. "I'm serious."

Nick started cracking up just like me. "That's funny."

"I know."

We got back to Nick's room and I changed into some clothes that were in my duffel bag. I had my pajama's in there just in case and it's a good thing I did. They were a dark red color, and were silk. I loved these and I guess Nick did too because he just stared at me in them. I joined him in his bed and layed on his chest. I fell asleep listening to his heart beat.
