"Oh no". Jessica heard C.J say once she saw her. Jessica was sitting on the desk chair, dressed. She looked up at C.J through red, swollen eye's.
"I'm sorry C.J" She said before bursting into tears. C.J gasped and wrapped her arms around Jessica.
"No no no no... Jess, this is not your fault. You have no reason to be sorry. Do you hear me? it's not your fault" C.J said while Jessica cried on her shoulder. Suddenly the door burst open and Zac rushed in yelling.
"I don't care she want's to be alone she's my fucking sister so don't even try to fucking stop me ok?"
"Zac..." C.J said. Zac's eye's widened when he saw that it really was Jessica who had been raped.
"Shit shit shit shit FUCK! he's gonna pay for this... I swear it!" Zac yelled, walking over to his girlfriend and sister.
"It wasn't just one" Jessica said quietly, not wanting Zac to go off in a rage.
"Excuse me?" Zac said.
"There were f-f-ouuurr" Jessica said, dragging out the last word in a long wail before starting to sob again. All C.J could do was hold Jessica and try to calm down Zac, who was racing about the room, punching the walls saying that the four of them were going to die. Finally Marla came in and said that the crowd had gone back to the party and the three of them could leave the house through the back door and gate. They walked out of the study and down the stairs to the kitchen. They walked into the kitchen and Jessica gasped when she saw who were sitting in there. The four of them looked at her and smirked and then watched as Jessica, C.J, Zac and Marla walked out the back door. Once they were outside Zac saw Jessica whisper something to C.J. Her eye's widened and she looked back towards the kitchen door. She whispered something to Jessica and Jessica nodded. Fury crossed C.J's face and she tightened her grip around Jessica's shoulders.
"Zac, those four boy's back in the kitchen? Well, they're Jessica's attackers" C.J said quietly. Zac never said a word. He went over to where Tyson, David, Jay and some other boy's were sitting. Soon the whole bunch of boys stood up and marched towards the back door that lead to the kitchen, with Zac in the lead. C.J, Jessica and Marla heard yells and thumps coming from the open door. Suddenly, the boy that had first raped Jessica, came hurtling out through the door, Zac came stomping out after him.
"Did you feel like a big man? holding down my sister. You don't look so god damn big now do you?" He shouted, as he walked up to the boy and kicked him in the stomach. Jessica screamed at Zac to stop but he didn't hear her. C.J wrapped her arms around Jessica and turned her around, but Jessica just turned back around. Soon, everyone was outside, watching the fight between the group of boys. Suddenly C.J heard the sound of sirens.
"ZAC!" She screamed. "We have to get out of here!". Zac looked at her and then Jay shoved him forward.
"Go man!" He shouted. Zac nodded and then ran up to his girlfriend and sister. There, the three of them slipped out the back gate and into an alley way. They ran down untill they came to a quiet street. Under a streetlight, C.J saw Zac's injuries.
"My god Zac, you're hurt!" She exclaimed. Zac shook his head.
"I'm fine" He said. The three of them stood there and Jessica was quiet while Zac and C.J disscussed where to go.
"My house is closer but I couldn't take you guy's there without Julia asking what happened... why don't we go to Ikes?" C.J suggested. Jessica looked up at Zac, hope in her eyes.
"Ok, come on" He said.
"Honey, someones at the door" Jaymi said, pushing Isaac so that he would wake up.
"Huh?" He asked, not fully aware that he was awake.
"Get the damn door Ike!" Jaymi hissed, she was having rapid mood swings lately. Isaac sighed and climbed out of bed. He stummbled down the hallway and made it to the door in one piece. He looked though the glass window beside the door and then opened it up.
"What are you guys doing here?" He asked the three of them as he let them inside. His eyes then rested on his little brother. "What the hell happened?" He cired. Just then Jaymi came wondering into the hallway.
"Whats goin-" She stopped in mid sentance as she saw Zac. "Oh my god!" She choked out.
"I'm fine... it's Jess.." Zac was cut off when Jessica suddenly burst into tears. Jaymi rushed forward and swept her up in a hug. She then led Jessica down the hall to the bedroom, C.J following behind. Isaac looked from the girls to Zac and back again to the girls, obvioulsly confused.
"Ok, you can tell me what happened while I clean you up" Isaac said firmly. Zac had cuts and bruises and blood all over his face and arms. He realized that he left his jacket at Tyson's and now he was freezing. Isaac lead him into the bathroom and sat him down on the edge of the bathtub. "What happened?" Isaac asked. Zac lowered one eye, he couldn't lower the other eye because it was swollen from the black eye a boy had so genrously given him. "Well?"
"Ike, I don't know how to tell you this, and judging by your reaction to that thing with Jon, then I don't really want to tell you this... but, C.J and I had heard that a girl had gotten raped at the party we were at... it was Jess. She was raped by four guys, one after the other. I still don't know the full story on what exactly happened." Zac said, stopping himself once he saw the look on Isaac's face. Zac couldn't remember when Isaac had looked so furious.
"..... he then pushed me to the floor and rape- raped me.. then the other three" Jessica said between sobs. Jaymi glanced at C.J and saw that C.J was hurting as much as what Jessica was. Jessica was sitting on Isaac's bed, inbetween Jaymi and C.J. Jaymi had called Kayla and her and Taylor were on their way over. Jessica didn't like the idea of everyone knowing but she figured it was for the best.
"Jess, you know you have to go to the hospital right?" Jaymi asked her. Jessica looked up at her with frightened eye's.
"What? no Jaymi, I couldn't do that! no way. Everyone would know why I'm there and then they'll think I'm a slut.. no Jaymi..." Jessica exclaimed. She then turned to C.J "Tell her I don't have to go" She cried. C.J looked at Jessica sadly.
"I'm sorry Jess, you have to go.. you have to be tested for HIV and other std's... also you have to have a pregnancy test" She said. Jessica's face crumpled and she began to cry again. Tears escaped from C.J's eye's. She knew how Jessica felt. She felt like running away. But she had to face what happened to her six years ago. She knew she had to tell Jessica, to let her know that she wasn't alone.
"Jess, you're not alone in this" Jaymi said.
"That's right Jess, Jaymi, C.J and I will be here for you" Kayla said from the doorway. The three girls looked up. Jessica jumped up and flung her arm's around Kayla.
"You called Mom?" Zac asked, shocked at what Taylor had just said to him.
"Yeah? so, what's the problem? Zac, Jess was rapped! Our parents deserve to know that! We kept that thing about Jon from them... but we can't keep this from them" Taylor said. Zac groaned.
"My god you're a fuckwit! Jess is gonna kill you! either that or she'll never speak to you again. She didn't want our parents to know! God damnit!" He exclaimed. Isaac then decided to speak.
"Actually Zac, I think Tay did the right thing. Jess is gonna need a lot of support through this. She wont be over it in a day. It took Jaymi months to get over nearly being rapped by Mark... and then she saw him again at the air port when we went to pick up your girlfriend and he threatened to do it again!"
"I can't believe this! Am I the only one who know's that Jess is not exactly gonna jump up and down for joy and agree with you?"
"Zac, get it into your fucking thick head that I called Mom because it is for Jessica's own good! She's gonna need Mom.. not just Jaymi, Kayla and C.J" Taylor yelled.
"You called Mom?" The three boy's heard Jessica's voice. The three of them whirled around in surprise and saw Jessica, Jaymi, Kayla and C.J. The three of them were silent. "Well? did you call her?" Jessica demanded, raising her voice a little.
"I.. uh.. well, Jess, you can't go through this without Mom..." Taylor said. Jessica's lower lip trembeled like she was going to cry, but the angry fire in her eye's didn't fade.
"How could you? how dare you!" Jessica cried. "It happened to me! you had no right Taylor... no right at all! how could you do this? I DIDN'T WANT MOM AND DAD TO KNOW!" She screamed.
"Taylor, I can't believe you" Kayla said. She then saw the hurt in Taylor's eye's.
"What? She needs our parents Kayla. Mom and Dad can help her. More than what we can! I'm not sorry for calling them." Taylor said. Kayla just shook her head.
"As much as I don't want to, I agree with Taylor... I think he did the right thing.. Jess, you do need your Mom. She can be there for you twenty four hours a day.. the rest of us can't." Jaymi said quietly.
"Thankyou! that make's two on my side" Taylor exclaimed.
"This isn't fair... why did this happen to me? I didn't do anything bad... I didn't ask for it... I didn't deserve it... it's not fair" Jessica said, sinking down into a chair, she started to cry again.
