Cabbage Casserole
Recipe given to me by Kay at First Citizen's Bank
· ½ head of cabbage, cut into small pieces
· 1 onion, diced
· 3 sticks butter, melted and divided
· ¾ cup mayonnaise
· 1 can cream of chicken soup
· 1 can cream of mushroom soup
· 2 cups cheddar cheese
· 1 roll Town House crackers, crumbled
· 1 roll Ritz Crackers, crumbled
Mix cabbage and onion and place in the bottom of a 9x13” baking dish.
Drizzle 1 stick butter over all. Mix together mayo and soups and pour over
cabbage. Allow remaining butter to cool and mix in cheese. Mix this with
cracker crumbs and spoon over cabbage mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
