I was standing outside wrapped under AJ’s yellow jacket leaning against his chest. I was thinking about how we were leaving any minute now and how much I was going to miss him. By then, everyone else was standing outside as well, probably with my exact thoughts.
“Kel??” AJ’s deep voice broke through my thoughts.
“Hmmm…??” I breathed into his gray t-shirt.
“The limo’s here. We’ve gotta go,” AJ said, slowing tugging me from around his waist.
“Aww!!” I whined.
“Kelly, I promise, I’ll call you as soon as I get home. I’ll write and call as often as I can and I’ll try my best to visit before this summer, ok baby?” he vowed, looking deep into my eyes with his gorgeous brown eyes.
I nodded and kissed him on the cheek and smiled.
“Yeah, I know you’ll call and I have about 300 different numbers where I can reach you!!” I laughed.
AJ laughed a bit more and then wrapped me tightly into his muscular arms and gave me a long, sweet kiss goodbye.
“I’ll see ya, babe,” AJ said kissing me softly on the cheek and sliding into the tinted white limo.
“Yeah, love you!” I called.
“Love you, too!” he said, slamming the door closed.
I zipped up my pullover sweater and shivered as I hopped into my silver Lexus and turned up the heat.
I sat there for a minute thinking how much I wanted to go home. I hadn’t talked to or seen my parents in a few days and at the moment, I needed quite a bit of comforting. I sighed and was flipping through the radio stations when I noticed a note lying on my dashboard.

Nick and I were so lost in each other’s embrace that we didn’t even realize the limo had pulled up and that it was time to say goodbye.
“Yo, Nick, the limo’s here. We gotta jet man,” B-Rok’s voice called to us.
Nick pulled his lips away from mine, to see that the limo had arrived.
“Well, hon, I guess it’s time for me to go,” Nick said gently brushing a piece of my hair from my face.
I smiled and stroked his soft cheek with my right hand and kiss his sweetly.
“I love you so much, Nick!” I said, closing my eyes, thinking of his gorgeous face.
“Oh, Gail, I love you, too. Come on now, I’ll walk ya to the car,” he said wrapping his arm firmly around my waist.
We arrived at Kelly’s car in about 15 seconds and he opened the car door for me as I stood there with my arms wrapped around his neck.
We shared one last kiss before I slid into Kelly’s car. Nick gently closed the door as I watched him walk away, his blonde hair blowing violently in the wind.
“You okay?” Kelly’s voice asked me concerned.
I turned to look at her a bit startled and smiled.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine. After all, it’s not like I’m never gonna see him again!!” I said, turning back to the window to find Nick already inside the limo.

Brian and I were quickly writing down each other’s phone numbers and addresses on scrap pieces of paper. Stupid us had forgotten to do that already!!
“Call me as soon as you get home, alright? I want to make sure you got home safely,” I said running my fingers through his curly mop.
He laughed and replied, “Of course! I’ll call you on the cell phone as were pulling into the driveway, ok?”
I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
“Yeah, you’d better. Now go on…get in the car. It’s cold out here and I don’t want to see my baby catch a cold,” I demanded, zipping Brian’s jacket up for him.
“Ok, but only because YOU told me to,” Brian said wrapping his arms around me, his baby blue eyes sparkling.
“Alright, baby, get in the car,” I said, as Brian and I shared one last deep kiss. We walked as slowly as we could hand-in-hand to the limo.
“See ya Claudi. I love you!” Brian said, sitting down in the limo beside of Nick.
“Love you, too, Bri!” I said, closing the door and running over to Kelly’s car.
I jumped in to see Gail and Kelly discussing a note that had been found on the dashboard of her car.

Kevin and I were smart and decided to stay inside the cabin for our goodbyes.
There was no point in freezing ourselves!
I was looking deep into Kevin’s green eyes and was about to declare how much I loved him for like the zillionth time this weekend when Howie and Theresa entered the room.
“Yo, Kev. The limo’s here….we’ve gotta go,” Howie said, leading Theresa outside into the freezing snow and ice.
“Well, I guess it’s time to go now. Call me??” I questioned, not releasing Kevin from our embrace.
“Of course. Don’t be silly, Vic. I’ll probably be calling you BEFORE I get there!!” he laughed.
“That sounds good!” I smiled.
“Well, come on…I don’t want the guys to leave me,” Kevin said leading me out the door, with his arm tightly around my waist.
“I love you sooo much!” I said as we arrived outside Kelly’s car.
“Oh, Vic, I love you, too! Be careful going home ok? Call me if I don’t call you first, alright?” Kevin told me.
“Sure will. You be careful, too. Love you!” I said, as Kevin and I shared one last kiss before he walked over to the limo.

“I love you, Theresa,” Howie cooed into my ear.
I smiled, still astonished that I was officially his fiance now. “I love you, too, baby,” I said, kissing him on the cheek.
“Well, I should go. The guys are waitin’ for me. Call me, ok?” he asked as I looked into his chocolate brown eyes.
“Sure! Go on…go. I’ll see ya soon! I love you!” I called after Howie as he opened the door to the limo.
He turned around waved goodbye and blew be a kiss through the snow and hopped into the limo.
I climbed into the backseat of Kelly’s car, beside Vic.
I sighed, “Man, I sure am glad that’s over. Telling them goodbye has to be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do!”
My four best friends all agreed as we turned our attention to the note in Kelly’s hand.

“I found this letter on my dashboard. I didn’t wanna read it until we all got in here,” I said, turning my radio down so that you could barely hear it.
The outside read:
“To Our Lady Loves: Kelly, Gail, Claudi, Vic, and Theresa”
I looked at my four best friends and their eyes glistened with anticipation.
I opened the note and it read:
We cannot express how much fun we had spending this weekend with you. We came up here expecting to hang out and rest, but instead we found the greatest loves of our lives.
We’re going to miss you terribly and wish that there were some way you could be with us right now. As you read this letter, think of the love that we shared over the past few days and know that you will see us very, very soon.
Call us when you get home so that we know you arrived safely. Thank you for making this the best weekend of our lives. Take care and we’ll see ya soon!

“Well, I guess we’d better get started if we’re gonna make it home before dinner!” I said, turning up the radio.
As the music blared through the speakers, we realized it was none other than the Backstreet Boys.
