I jumped out of bed and took a quick glance around the room.
“Ohmygosh!!! We soooo overslept!!” I yelled jerking the blankets off of Gail, Claudi, and Theresa. “Get up!!! It’s 8:30 and we have to be gone by 9:00!!!”
I rushed around the room grabbing up all of my clothes and then ran into the bathroom to get myself ready.
I put on my favorite pair of Gap jeans and a black shirt, with my baby blue pullover sweater over it. I applied my makeup and curled my hair as quickly as I could. Claudi had already been knocking on the door pleading with me to come out.
There she was, knocking again…
“Claudi, wait just one minute!!!!” I yelled.
“Um…it’s not, Claudi…can I come in?” a voice called from the other side of the girl that was definitely not feminine.
I immediately threw open the door and jumped into AJ’s arms!
“Good morning to you, too!” he laughed, kissing me sweetly on the lips.
I took in a breath of his sweet cologne as he followed me back into the bathroom. I smoothed some cherry lip gloss on my lips, grabbed my purse, and left the bathroom, as Claudi, Theresa, and Gail fought over the bathroom.
AJ and I laughed as I finished packing the rest of my stuff.
“Man, I can’t believe today is finally here. This has been the best weekend of my life, Kelly, and it’s all because of you,” AJ said, turning to me.
I was going to say something, but there was a big lump in my throat and nothing would come out, so I just nodded and turned back to my suitcase.
I was folding my boxers and putting them into the suitcase when AJ’s arms wrapped around my waist from behind and he was so close to me that I felt his breath against my neck.
I closed my eyes as I thought this could be the last time his arms would ever be around me. No, I shook my head, I couldn’t think like that. I was going to see him this summer and that was that!!
I finished packing and turned to kiss AJ a kiss when he was writing something down.
“What’s that??” I said peeping over his shoulder.
“Oh…this? I’m writing down my home phone number, my cell phone number, my pager number, my home address, my e-mail address…did I forget anything?” AJ said handing me the paper.
I just laughed and slipped the paper into my pocket and wrote down all the essentials for him as well.
I grabbed AJ’s hand and pulled him to the door so we could load up all of my luggage. I looked at him and started to laugh because he was being a sweetie and carrying all of my luggage for me and there were like three bags on one shoulder, and he looked so cute carrying my purse!!!
“Shut up, Kel! Just open the door…” AJ glared at me.
I just laughed and followed him out the door.

Claudi and I finished getting our stuff packed and decided to go see if our boys were up yet.
We walked into the room to see them both still bundled under the covers.
“Rise and shine sleepy heads!!!” I yelled walking over to the side of Nick’s bed, ruffling his hair through my fingers.
He moaned and turned in the other direction. I climbed halfway onto the bed and started to shake him a bit when he reacher over and started tickling me! He pulled me down onto the bed and was tickling me. I was halfway on top of him and halfway off the bed.
“Nick!! You tricked me!! I thought you were asleep!!” I said, straightening my hair out and shoving Nick across the bed.
“Oww!” he said rubbing his arm, “That hurt!!”
I just rolled my eyes and climbed off the bed.
“Nick, come on, you’re not packed and you have to leave in 10 minutes, just like we do, except we’re already packed!!!” I told him, taking his hand and helping him off the bed.
Nick threw on some jeans and a white t-shirt and a Dolphins jersery over that. Whew!! He just looked good in anything he wore…
He scrounged around the room, gathering all of his clothes and jamming them into his one little suitcase. You’d think by now he would’ve learned to bring more luggage!!
“Come on, I’ll help ya take your stuff out to the car. No, wait, nevermind, you only have one bag!!” I said laughing at him pretending to struggle with the weight of it.
“Oh puleeze…you could carry me, plus that bag!!” I said going to take the bag from him.
“Hmm…now that’s an idea….” He said as he picked me up and cradled me in his strong arms, throwing the bag over his shoulder.
“Nick, I didn’t mean it literally….” I said trying my best to give him a serious look.
“Well, I decided that it sounded like a pretty good idea to me!! You ready?” Nick said kissing me on the cheek and heading for the door.
“Yup, sure am! Let’s go, baby.” I wrapped my arms around him neck and kissed him on the lips as he carried me out of the room.

“Aww…they’re so sweet!” I said, looking at Brian, still half asleep.
“Brian, honey, please get up. We’ve gotta be gone in, um…well, now!! Get up!”
Brian finally rolled out of bed in nothing but his boxers.
“Ohmygosh…” I whispered out loud, “he’s in his boxers!”
I heard him laughing as he turned around the face me.
I was blushing so much…I could feel it. “Bri, please, go put some clothes on!”
He didn’t say a word, just smiled, and put on some Tommy jeans.
“Alright, let’s get you packed,” I said getting up from the bed.
“Nope. I’m already packed!! I’m a smart boy! I pack last night so I could sleep in this morning!” he grinned proudly.
“Oooh…I’m impressed,” I said giving him a peck on the cheek.
He grabbed his luggage, and my hand, and tugged me out the door.

I opened my eyes to find Kevin slumped over beside me, still asleep and breathing ever so softly. I smiled at the cute expression plastered on his face.
“Nick really, you can put me down now!” I heard Gail’s voice coming from the hallway.
I sat up and fixed my hair the best I could and nudged Kevin a bit.
“Uh-oh!! You and Kevin slept out here all night??” Gaid said, laughing as Nick gently planted her feet on the floor.
I blushed a bit and was about to explain when Kevin got up from the couch and stretched.
He yawned and said, “Yeah, we just decided to stay out here since we were both too tired to walk back to the room.”
“Oh, alright, well, we’re off to load our stuff into my car. See ya,” Gail said as her and Nick practically skipped out the door, hand in hand.
“I’m so glad that we had already packed our things last night,” I said, getting up from the couch and wrapped my arms around Kevin’s waist and leaning my head against his chest.
“Yeah, me too. Now you and I can spend a little extra time together….” Kevin said, leaning down and cupping my chin into his hand and kissing me gently.

I was zipping up my suitcase when someone covered up my eyes and whispered, “Guess who??” into my ear.
“Hmmm….let’s see….” I began, “is it my future husband??”
I turned around to face Howie. He was beaming!! The widest grin I had seen in my entire life was spread across his gorgeous face.
I was expecting him to say something like, oh are you sure, or really, but he didn’t…he just threw his arms around me and pulled me to him and hugged me very tightly. I was sooo happy!!
“So, you’re gonna be my wife, huh?” Howie said, kissing me, and still smiling.
“Yes, of course!! I’m sorry that I made you wait overnight, but it’s a very big commitment to make, but now I’m so sure that this is what I really want. This is the way it should be…me and you, forever.”
“I’m so glad that you feel that way. I love you more than anything in the world,” Howie told me, kissing me once again.
We were about to leave and pack our stuff into the car when he stopped me right outside the door.
“What? What is it?” I said a bit concerned.
“Here…” he said, slipping an exquisite diamond ring onto my finger. “Now everyone will know that you’re my fiance,” he said taking my hand and leading me outside.
