Nick held a squirming Michael in his arms. He looked from his son to his best friend. "Man he's restless." he whispered.
"Wonder why?" she replied sarcastically, watching Nick avoid looking to the front of the church.
He rolled his eyes and shook his head, keeping his eyes away from the front of the church where Lis and Bri stood.
"If anyone here has just cause why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." the minister looked out at the people in church while AC turned and nodded at E.
Slowly E stood up, ignoring the look of surprise on her friend's face. "I object to this wedding."
AC stood up. "I object too, she doesn't love him she loves my brother." A murmur went through the crowd, "and he loves her too." He turned to a pale Nick, "I'm sorry Nick but if you aren't gonna stop this I am."
AJ stepped out of the groomsmen line. "I gotta object too."
D cleared his throat. "Same here."
BJ nodded. "Me too."
Shan took a deep breath before speaking. "I object as well."
The minister looked around in shock, "Well then."
Aaron turned to Nick, "Now's your chance man do something!" he urged.
Nick nodded and slowly got to his feet, putting Michael on his hip and making his way to the front of the church.
Lis stood there frozen, everyone fading out as her eyes stayed glued to Nick. She wondered what he was going to do.
He stopped a couple feet ahead of her and smiled shyly, "It's been awhile since I've sang so I'm probably gonna be off but Lissy..."

Brian smiled and kissed Lis' cheek. "You know it was always supposed to be you and him."

Nick held his hand out and helped her down the two steps. "Lissy, honey Michael, that baby you're carrying and me want the four of us to be a family."
Shan turned to them. "Baby?"
Lis nodded, barely glancing at her friend, her eyes were glued to the man in front of her.
"I can't get down on one knee," he looked at Michael in his arms, "Maybe I can." he turned and passed Michael to AC, getting down on one knee. "Lisa Marie Halliwell-Carter, will you make me the happiest man again and marry me?" he asked taking her hand and putting it over his heart.
She nodded slowly, "Yes..." she pulled him up, "Yes indeedy I will."
Nick grinned and picked her up swinging her in a circle as he kissed her.
