The girls all clung to the boys on all of the scary parts. Christine and Howie really didn't watch the movie, they were to busy looking at each other and kissing.
When they got out of the movie they were going to walk home in the snow.
They all passed by a park. "Let's cut through there," Brian said.
So they did. As they were walking Brian and Nick picked up some snow and made it into a snowball. Howie would have but he was too busy walking and being mesmerized by Christine.
Gina saw Nick and Brian with the snowball. "Don't you dare." Cindy heard Gina and rushed by her to see what was wrong. As she looked over at Brian he through a snow ball and it hit her in the shoulder.
"Hey!" Cindy exclaimed. She picked up some snow and through it back at Brian. "Snowball fight!" Cindy yelled.
Nick then through his snowball at Gina. Howie and Christine finally found out what was going on then got in on the snowball fight.
Once Brian started to run after Cindy with a snowball in his hands he tripped over Cindy and they were on top of each other. Cindy just smiled at him and he smiled back embarrassingly as he got up.
After the fight they all were walking side by side. "I need to talk to Gina," Nick said.
Gina had a surprised look on her face. "Ok," Gina said happily. She was waiting for a time alone with him as long as she has liked him.
As they walked off closely together Brian said out loud "I think it would be better if I talked to Cindy too."
Cindy looked at Christine with an excited smile on her face. Christine smiled back at her. "That would be great," Cindy said.
So they walked off together just like Gina and Nick did but in the opposite direction.
"So, I guess that leaves us alone" Howie joked.

"Gina, I need to talk to you. I like you so much, if you couldn't tell." Nick joked. "I have always wanted to ask you this questioned."
"What is it?" Gina asked
"I wanted to ask you if we could go out?" Nick asked in a hurry
"Well, I like you too." Gina confessed. "I guess I could go out with you." Gina said it very modestly, even though she was about to burst with excitement.
They came to a swing set and they both sat down on swings next to each other. They started to talk.
Gina started to get real cold and started chattering her teeth and shivering.
"Are you cold?" Nick asked Gina.
"Yes," Gina answered "Maybe we should head back?"
"No, I like staying here with you alone. Whenever I see you, it is never alone, Brian and Howie are always with me or Christine and Cindy are with you. Let's stay here and talk together. You can come on my swing and we can keep each other warm while we talk."
So Gina went on the swing with him and he put his arms around her. He put his arms around her partly to keep her warm and partly because he wanted to.
After awhile Gina and Nick started getting comfortable.
He leaned over and gave her a soft but strong kiss. It is what Gina had hoped for ever since she had started liking him. She couldn't wait to tell Christine and Cindy that she was going out with Nick.

Brian smiled at Cindy as they were walking together. They both stopped walking and sat over on a nearby bench. "Cindy I have liked you for a long time. I finally got up the courage to ask you something."
"What"? Cindy questioned
"Will you go out with me?" Brian asked
"Yes I will. Too bad you didn't ask me earlier, because I would have said yes then too, and we would be already going out." Cindy said as she smiled at Brian.
He pulled Cindy close to him and gave her a hug. She felt so warm and safe near him.
"I have also gotten up the courage to do this," Brian said as he then kissed her softly on the lips.
Cindy could tell that this wasn't going to be her and Brian's regular friendship.

Christine and Howie stayed where the others had left them. They had decided that they should walk around a bit.
Christine had a feeling that Howie knew what Brian and Nick were going to say to Cindy and Gina.
"What are they saying to Cindy and Gina?" Christine asked Howie.
"Why do you think I would know?"
"You are their best friend, so you must know what they are going to say." Christine told Howie.
"What if I do know what they are going to ask them, I mean tell them." Howie said.
"You just said asking them. You mean they are going to ask them something?" Christine asked "Like asking them out?"
"Yes, but I never told you that."
Christine laughed as Howie leaned in to kiss her. He gave her a long kiss. Christine loved his kisses. She always thought that each of Howie’s kisses were romantic in their own way.
After awhile Nick and Gina came holding each other's hand. Then Brian came with his arm around Cindy's shoulder.
"I think I know what Cindy and Gina said." Christine whispered to Howie when she saw Brian’s arm around Cindy and Gina and Nick holding hands.
