One snowy day, six seniors were coming out of their warm school to the cold outside air.
Their names were Cindy, Christine, Gina, Howie, Brian and Nick. They had been friends for as long as they could remember. Gina and Christine were twins even though they both didn't look hardly anything alike and both had different personalities.
It was their last day of school before winter break, so they decided to go to a movie together. They went to the movies a lot and took turns on picking out the movie.
Christine and Howie were already dating and have been for a couple of weeks. Cindy liked Brian and he liked her but neither of them knew that they liked each other. Gina liked Nick and he liked her. Gina could kind of tell that he liked her but she never told anybody.
They were at the movie theatre and they were deciding on what movie to see. It was the boys turn to pick the movie since the girls went the last two times.
"I want to see a science fiction movie" Howie remarked.
"Ok" Cindy said, she loves science fiction and including the movies.
Brian didn't mind in seeing the science fiction movie. Then Gina spoke up, "I don't want to see a science fiction movie, they are too boring".
Nick hurried and agreed with her, "Neither do I."
"I have an idea", Christine said. "We can go see a scary movie."
"What is the point in that?" Howie asked her
"On the scary parts I can hold on to you." Christine told Howie in a convincingly way.
"Ooo, that is a good idea." Howie said to Christine.
Gina really didn't like scary movies either but she liked the idea of her holding Nick on all of the scary parts.
As they paid for their tickets and went into the theatre Howie called out, "I get to sit by Christine".
So Howie sat by Christine. Then Cindy sat by Christine and Brian hurried and sat by Cindy. Gina wanted to sit down and see what Nick would do and when she sat down, Nick sat right next to her.
"We will go get some popcorn and candy", all of the boys said.
"Ok", the girls said, as they gave them some money.
When the boys left the girls started to talk.
"I doubt I will be watching the movie, I will be looking at Howie the whole time", Christine said with a slight laugh.
"You really are obsessed with him aren't you?" Cindy teased Christine.
"No, I just like him a lot, he is so cute." Christine explained.
"Not as cute as Nick," Gina said.
"Ha, Ha, Ha," Cindy and Christine said sarcastically, as they lightly hit her with their coats.
"Gina, it really looks like Nick likes you, he is always agreeing and sitting by you." Cindy said.
"You noticed?" Gina said "He is always doing that, I think he likes me, actually I hope he likes me."
The boys then came back with a large popcorn and candy. The girls asked the boys why they each got a large popcorn.
"So we can share," Howie said
"It was also less money to get some to share, because on all of the large things you get free refills." Brian said.
The girls noticed that Nick wasn't there. "Where is Nick?" Gina asked.
"Oh, he has the drinks." Brian answered
"Drinks?" Cindy asked
Just as she was saying that Nick came in with three drinks looking like he was going to drop one. He also had six straws, two in each cup.
As all of the boys sat down the movie started.
