KC's hands went to her face. Laney just stared. her eyebrows perched at their
highest point. Brian had a tiny smile on his face, and Nick was on the
verge of laughing. Everyone just stared at the two. AJ and Ashley seperated
and AJ smiled.
"That was nice" he whispered. Ashley smiled back and nodded. Nick couldn't
hold back his laughter. He almost fell over. KC immediately cupped her hand
over his mouth and ran him out of the room. AJ and Ashley were too busy
staring into eachother's eyes to notice Nick's outburst. Brian smiled at Laney
evily. He crepped behind the couch where AJ and Ashley were seated. He knelt
down with his arms folded on the back of the couch. He looked back at Laney and
smiled again. He leaned forward on the couch.
"Alright AJ!" he yelled. Ashley just about jumped a mile! AJ jumped off the couch.
"BRIAN! GET THE HELL AWAY!" he screamed. Ashley had her hand on her forehead.
"AJ, ignore him. He's had too much sugar today, I think" Laney explained, walking to
where AJ was standing. He sat back on the couch. Laney walked to Brian and grabbed
his arm.
"Come on Brian. Let's go get you some ritalin" she replied, pulling him up. **
Author's note: ritalin is a drug that you take if you're too hyper...** Brian
played along.
"What are you talkin' bout? Nick's the one who uses ritalin" he said. Laney nodded.
"Then, let's see if we can steal a few pounds from Nick's room" she said, slowly, leading
Brian from the room. Ashley was nearly having a heart attack from laughing so hard. AJ turned
to her.
"So what does this mean?" he asked. Ashley stopped laughing and shrugged.
"What do you want it to mean?" she asked back, playfully. AJ smiled.
"I hope that it means that I'll see you again...once we leave" he replied, grabbing her hand.
Ashley smiled at him.
"Then that's what it means" she whispered softly. AJ squeezed her hand. Then he leaned forward
and kissed her lips. Ashley melted away immediately.
*MEANWHILE*
Nick was bending over laughing in the hallway after KC had dragged him away.
"What are you laughing about? I think it's sweet" KC gushed. Nick stopped lauging and looked up
at her.
"I'm laughing at what he said to her! 'That was nice.' I've known AJ for more than 6 years and he's
come up with smoother things to say after he kisses a girl" he said, in between tiny giggles. KC
rolled her eyes.
"Maybe he really likes Ashley" she stated. Nick nodded. His giggles were over. At that moment, Laney
and Brian came out of the Living Room, both laughing.
"What?" Nick asked, smiling. Brian stopped laughing to answer Nick.
"AJ just freaked on me for sneaking up on him and Ashley! You just had to be there!" he
exclaimed. Laney was giggling. Nick and KC were obviously confused.
"I guess we would" KC said. She looked at her watch. "Man! It's already 11:45! I think I'm gonna
head to bed. Are you coming?" she asked Laney. Nick smiled.
"Yup. I'm coming, KC. Just let me change into something more...comfortable" Nick said in a sexy voice.
He made a purring noise, and KC gave him a disturbed look.
"Nick. I think you've been on the road too long!" KC said. Nick nodded, smiling.
"So, are you coming LANEY" she asked. Laney nodded.
"Night guys" she said, starting to walk down the hall with KC.
"Laney wait!" Brian exclaimed. Laney turned back around.
"Are you still going to come with me to get that ritalin stuff from Nick's room tomorrow?" he
asked. Nick gave Brian a confused look, Laney giggled.
"Yup! But you weren't supposed to tell him!" she exclaimed. Brian hit his forehead.
"Sorry! But we'll still get it" he said. Laney nodded and smiled. She turned back around and she and
KC walked down the hall.
"Night ladies! Don't let the bed bugs bite!" Nick yelled after them. Both girls waved over their
shoulders.
