"Oh my Gosh!!" screamed Laney with her hands over her mouth. Ashley was sitting on her bed, with tiny tears rolling down her face. KC was looking through the peep hole. She had been doing that for the past hour, in hopes of the Boys' return. The girls still weren't recovered from their experience.
"Where the hell are they?!" KC yelled to the door. Laney was now pacing around the room frantically.
"What if they leave!! I didn't say a word to them!" she cried, still pacing. Ashley stood up, whipped the tears from her eyes, and announced,
"We have to go find them, now! This lodge is big, so who knows how long it'll take us!". Ashley was right, the lodge had 12 floors. On which included, an indoor hot tub, sauna, games room, dinner hall, living room, a banquet hall, for parties, and lots more. Not to mention the ski hills behind them.
KC and Laney nodded. The girls grabbed their jackets, checked themselves in the mirror and locked their door. They stopped in front of the elevator.
"Okay, no where?" KC asked biting her lip. Ashley just shrugged. Laney pushed the up bottun on the elevator.
"Let's go to the games room. Knowing my Brian, he'll want to play games!" she replied. KC and Ashley burst out laughing.
"Your Brian?! Oh, not again Laney!" Ashley exclaimed. Laney blushed and looked at the floor.
"Well...a girl can dream, right?" she stated. The two other girls nodded in unison. Then the elevator opened. KC half expected the Boys to come out, but they didn't. The girls stepped in the elevator. Ashley pushed floor #8 to go to the games room. A shot of adrenaline ran through her body and she nearly fell over.
"GUYS!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. KC and Laney both screamed, "WHAT!!" in unison. Ashley was grinning from ear-to-ear. "I MET AJ!!" she exclaimed again. Then she screamed. The two other girls joined her screaming to humour the poor girl. The elevator door suddenly opened in the middle of their screams. They had reached the 8th floor. The girls burst out laughing at their frantic outbursts. They stepped into the hall. There was a sign on the wall, poinging right ----> to the games room. KC led the way down the hall. The door to the games room was closed. There was a sign on the door. KC read it aloud.
"This toom is being used, please come back again later". Ashley leaned her ear to the door and listened. She could hear the "clank" of the ping-pong balls being hit. Along with a few loud voices...
"I think it's them in there!" she whispered stepping away from the door. KC smiled.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" she replied. KC grabbed the door knob and turned it. It was unlocked. KC grinned at her friends and pulled the door out. The noises got louder, as did the voices. KC poked her head in the door and giggled loudly. She looked back at her friends, "They're in there". Laney tensed up and closed the door shut before KC could go inside. KC's mouth dropped open and her eyebrow's narrowed.
"Why the f*ck did you do that??!!" she yelled. Laney frowned and bit her nails, one of her nervous habits.
"I'm not ready to see them" she whispered. Ashley groaned and grabbed Laney's hand from her mouth.
"We're going inside, with or without you. Are you coming or not?" she snarled losing whatever patience she had left for Laney. Laney was extremely shy and was always backing down on things at the last moment. Laney tought for a few moments, then she nodded her head. The other two smiled. KC took a deep breath and opened the door. She smiled at the sight. Nick was playing a video arcade game by the window, Brian and AJ were playing ping-pong, and Howie and Kevin were playing pool. KC waved the other girls into the room. Ashley stepped in the room and almost giggled out loud. Laney slowly stepped in the room, carefully closing the door behind her. She turned around and let out a loud squeal. Howie looked up at them. He nudged Kevin and Kevin smiled.
"Why, hello again" he replied setting hte pool stick on the table. The others stopped what they were doing and looked at the girls. Nick smiled and walked across the room.
"How did you three get in here?" he asked when he reached them. Laney tensd up again, but managed to shrug an answer. Brian laughed.
"Cat got your tongue, Laney?" he joked. Laney's mouth dropped open when Brian said her name. He's so cute when he says my name, she thought.
"Uh...how...how do you...umm...how do you know...my name?" she stammered staring at him. Brian chuckled again and walked up to her. She patted her head.
"Your friend told me before, honey" she said gently. AJ burst out laughing.
"Hey, Rok! She's not a dog!" he cried. Brian smiled at Laney, then walked over to AJ. He leaned over ang whispered,
"I know, she's very attractive" he replied. AJ had to struggle not to laugh.
"Geex man! Is sex all you think about? She's only 18!" he cried, louding on purpose. Brian's eyes opened wide in terror. He spun around to face Laney. She was blushing and her friends were giggling around her. Brian held up his hand.
"Look, Laney. I didn't say anything bad---" he started. He was cut off by Nick.
"We know Brian. We understand" he said slowly. Brian sighed loudly and picked up the ping-pong paddle.
"Do any of you wanna join me in a friendly game?" he asked the girls. Laney looked at the floor, too scared to answer. Ashley nudged Laney. Laney glared at her. Ashley sighed.
"I'll play!" she exclaimed. Laney looked up. Ashley didn't even look at her. Ashley walked up to Brian and he handed her a paddle, smiling. AJ saw the expression on Laney's face. He walked to her and put his arm around her shoulder. Laney blushed.
"Wanna play basketball with me?" he asked. Laney nodded. She loved basketball to death. AJ led her to the basketball court. They started playing one-on-one.
KC sighed loudly and sat down on the chair by the door. She looked up at the ceiling, starting to count the dots. Whne she looked back to eye level, Nick was right in front of her. She gasped.
"Gosh! You scared me to death!" she cried. Nick smiled.
"Sorry. I noticed you here alone. That just didn't seem right to me" he replied. KC stood up and pulled a few strands of hair behind her ear, and smiled.
"I'm guessing you want me to play a video game with you?" she guessed, folding her arms in front of her. Nick took her arm and pulled her to the video game machine in response.
