Nick and I continued walking around together and I met one of the other group members, A.J. McLean. He was very sweet! He promptly introduced himself and gave me a small peck on the cheek and welcomed me to the set. I felt totally exhilirated! I mean, this gorgeous guy just gave me a kiss and I get to work with this adorable blonde for my job! How lucky could I get?!
Nick asked if I wanted a snack or anything, but I only wanted water. So, Nick and I walked to the lounge to buy some bottled water. As we entered the lounge, we saw Sam and Brian wrapped around each other sitting on the couch.
“Well, well, what do we have here?!” Nick asked tauntingly.
I giggled and Nick took my hand and pulled me onto the floor with him! This totally took me by surprise and I let out a small gasp.
“So, B-Rok, as I hear you’re called, you and Sam must’ve hit it off pretty well, huh?” I asked slyly. Brian just laughed and looked at Sam adoringly and squeezed her tighter.
Meanwhile, Nick was setting up his Nintendo for me and him to play a game of Mario Kart.
“C’mon Alex. Are ya ready to get beat?” Nick joked.
“No, no Nick. Are YOU ready to get beat?” I shot back.
He just laughed and thrust the control into my hand.
B-Rok shouted halfway through the game, “Oh come on Nick! You can take her!”
Sam, being my best friend, took up for me and playfully hit Brian on the arm.
I exclaimed, “Nope! Too late, I just beat him!”
“Yeah, yeah. C’mon, let’s play best two out of three.” Nick tried to convince me. Ordinarily I would’ve loved to because I have a passion for video games, but it was 4:30 and we hadn’t even had make-up done!
“Ohmygosh!” I exclaimed jumping up.
“It’s 4:30!” I declared, looking at my watch.
Sam climbed out of Brian’s comfortable embrace and glanced longingly over her shoulder at him.
“Aww…man! You’ve gotta go now?!” Nick whined, grasping for my hand to help him up.
“Yeah…I do, but hey, I get to be with you on the set!” I smiled trying to sound happier than I felt.
By this time, I extended my hand to help Nick up and he pulled me down so that I tumbled into his lap!
At this, I turned a bit red, but wrapped my arms around his neck for support bringing my lips brushing against his cheek. He looked deep into my eyes with his sparkling blue eyes. He then smiled his absolutely gorgeous smile with his perfect lips. He took his left hand and stroked my cheek and leaned in to give me a kiss filled with magic and passion.
“Sam, come on…we need to go cut on the A/C. It’s getting hot in here!” Brian said coughing, trying to distract me and Nick.
We looked up and I was a little embarrassed, so I buried my face into Nick’s neck and took in a deep breath of his cologne. I was in heaven!
“Nick, I’ve really got to go. Look at me…I’m a mess!” I said, reaching for my hairbrush.
Nick reassured, “Alex, you’re beautiful. You don’t need make-up, but I understand you have to go.” He helped me up to my feet.
“Come on!” I said, turning to see Sam and Brian lip-locked.
“Man! We’re gonna need a crowbar to pry them apart!” Nick joked.
“Yeah…whatever. Let’s just leave ‘em. Come on, you can walk me to my dressing room,” I suggested to Nick.
We left the room hand in hand, leaving Brian and Sam drowning in their emotions for each other.
