Three days later it was time for Rachelle to go back to school. Everyone helped her pack and get her car loaded. Kevin was especially upset, out of all of us, at least. But, he went down with her, so it wasn't too
depressing for him.
"I wish you could stay." Rachelle sighed after she had unpacked everything from her car into her new apartment. Kevin held her close and kissed the tip
of her nose, Rachelle smiled.
"Well, I'll be here tonight and tomorrow." Kevin reminded her.
"Yeah, but I won't see you for so long, it'll feel like eternity." Rachelle replied.
"Well, I'll be going through the same thing. And I will definitely visit you." Kevin assured her.
"But what if you meet some chick on the road and fall for her?" Rachelle asked, knowing that it could happen, although Kevin didn't think so.
"Rach, there is no way in hell that I'd fall for someone other than you!" Kevin exclaimed, he then became quieter, "Baby, I love you." Kevin then
pulled her in gently, but held her tight, not wanting to ever let go, he then gave her a long, sweet kiss.
"Kev, If I do find out you cheated on me, I have ways of making you suffer that you've never dreamt about, OK?" Rachelle asked to make sure he got her
point. Kevin laughed and nodded.
"You are such an angel." Kevin commented sarcastically. Rachelle smiled innocently.
"I know, aren't I?"
Quickly the time when the guys were summoned on tour approached.
Rachelle was already feeling heartache down at Virginia Tech, while Chesa and Amber were feeling the early signs back in Springfield.
"I can't believe you all are leaving tomorrow." Chesa sighed as they all vegged out in the living room. Nick looked down at his watch, 8:37, they
would be on a plane to Tampa in twenty hours, he wished that he'd be on the plane from the tour back to Amber in twenty minutes. Brian, who was sitting
behind Chesa, gave her a quick squeeze and a kiss.
"Don't worry, Chester, we will be back for a concert here in two months, then we only have two more concert dates after that." AJ reminded.
"Then we will be able to see you guys again." Nick assured and kissed Amber's temple.
"Yeah, but then you have to go back down to Florida..." Amber whined.
"You can always visit and we will visit you, unless-Na, forget it." AJ retracted.
"What, bone?" Chesa asked.
"You could always move down there." He suggested.
"Yeah!" Howie agreed.
"I just got this house six months ago though." Chesa reminded.
"Think about it, OK baby?" Brian requested. Chesa nodded.
"You too." Nick told Amber, she nodded. Nick stood up and took Amber's hand.
"What?" She asked looking up at him.
"Com'mon." He urged. "Oh great, what does he have in store for me now?" Amber thought to herself. She stood up and they walked off. Chesa also stood up.
"Where are you going?" Brian asked, upset that she was leaving, as she began to walk away. She turned around and pointed to the sky.
"Up." Brian smiled a fake smile.
"Funny." He replied.
"Really?" Chesa asked with a puzzled look, "I thought so too." Chesa then preceded to head upstairs. Brian watched her go, and stared after her.
"I seriously don't get that woman." Brian stated. AJ chuckled.
"Not many people do." AJ commented.
"Brian, you know you're stuck with her now though." Howie laughed.
"Yeah. I'm caught in her web, not that I really mind." Brian agreed. Brian grabbed the remote and turned on ESP..
"In news today on the NCAA, the Kentucky Wild Catz lost to Virginia Tech Hokies. This puts Virginia in-"
Brian turned it off quickly. "Aw, today really does suck!" Brian whined.
"Ha-Ha!" Chesa yelled down from her room, watching ESPN.
"Oh, shut-up!" Brian yelled back playfully. "I hate it when she watches ESPN. She doesn't leave me enough time to recover the shock of a loss before she
teases me." All of the guys chuckled. Brian left the room and walked upstairs to Chesa's room. He opened the door and walked in.
"Nick, what are we doing up here?" Amber asked as they sat down on the roof.
"Getting ready to look at the stars and cuddle." Nick replied helping Amber sit down. Nick pulled a hammer from his pocket and two nails, "But first I
am gonna fix this shingle on your's and Chesa's roof." Nick lined up the shingle and placed the nail.
Chesa was sitting on her bed reading a book.
"Hey." Brian greeted walking over to her.
"Hey, hon." She replied, still reading.
"Whatcha reading?" Brian asked sitting down on her bed and snuggling up close to her.
"A book." She replied, not lifting her eyes from the words on the book.
Brian rolled his eyes.
"What book?" He whispered softly in her ear.
"One about a sexy pop star that won't leave his beautiful girlfriend alone so that she can read her favorite book." Chesa replied sarcastically.
"Oh, yeah, I read that one, but, I don't remember it saying that his girlfriend was beautiful." Brian replied "Two can play this game." He thought to himself. Chesa raised her arm as though to bitch slap him, and held her position, Brian put up his hands for defense. Chesa looked over at him.
"You dork." She finally told him and smiled.
"Geek."
"Moron."
"Idiot."
"Stupid."
"Retard."
"Pretard."
"Huh?"
"Get Amber to explain." Chesa replied.
"Oh..."
"Nimerod." Chesa snorted.
"Hey, you best watch yourself." Brian warned sarcastically.
"What are you gonna do, punch me?" Chesa asked.
"No."
"Kick me?" Chesa asked.
"No."
"Hurt me?" She again questioned.
"No." Brian again answered, and moved in closer to her.
"What then?" She asked as Brian was just about over her. Brian brushed his lips to hers."My bidding." Brian replied.
"I can make your wish come true, I'm a genie in a bottle, you gotta rub me the right way." Chesa sang with a grin.
"I think you got the words wrong." Brian said in contrast to what she sang.
"I don't like that song anyway... a better one is 'You are my fire, the one desire, believe when I say that I want it that way.'" Chesa sang to him, meaning every word. Brian smiled his boyish grin. "What is he gonna do now?" Chesa wondered. Brian then began to kiss her, softly at first, but gradually getting harder. And, of course, Chesa willingly returned the kiss.
"Nick! I see that you've never done this before." Amber stated as her boyfriend tried to hammer in the shingle. Nick blushed.
"Well...no, but I've seen it done." He replied sheepishly. Amber rolled her eyes.
"Here, let me show you." Amber urged and took the hammer from him. Amber lined up the shingle and hammered in the nail. "There." Nick was a bit
embarrassed that his girlfriend could hammer in a roof shingle, but that he couldn't.
"...Oh." Amber put the hammer to the side.
"Come 'er. You are still a macho man, even if you don't have a clue about house work." Amber assured with a grin.
"Thanks." Nick replied sarcastically and cuddled up next to Amber.
"Quit whining. I don't find it attractive when you whine." Amber ordered.
"Well excuse me!" Nick exclaimed playfully.
"ANYWAY, what's up?" Amber asked.
"The stars." Nick replied looking up. Amber smiled at his boyish ways.
Amber then looked up too.
"Hey! There's Orion, and the Queen." Amber pointed out. Nick looked over at her as she looked up at the stars. Nick moved in closer to her and kissed
her neck. Amber turned her head and kissed his forehead. Nick looked up at her.
"What's up?" He asked with a smile.
"Everything." Amber replied staring into his dark blue eyes. Nick kissed her again, his mind clear and set on only thoughts of her.
AJ walked outside and looked out at the backyard. He brought his hot chocolate mug up to his lips and sipped it. A scraping noise came from the roof, AJ looked up and dodged an object flying towards him off of the roof.
He walked over to find a hammer laying on the porch. He then heard Amber say "Whoops."
"You idiots! You almost killed me!" AJ yelled up. He heard Nick and Amber giggle.
"Sorry!"
"Hey, it isn't funny!" AJ yelled back, he then went inside, fearing his life.
Who knows what other deadly objects they had up there! AJ walked into the kitchen and rinsed out his mug. Just as he was finishing, Brian walked in
along with Chesa. Brian was laughing as Chesa had an angry face.
"What?" AJ asked.
"I beat her at Mario Kart." Brian replied with a grin.
"Nobody beats me at Mario Kart!" Chesa whined. AJ got a sad puppy dog look on his face and put out his arms.
"Aw, come 'er Chester," AJ said as Chesa pretended to cry and gave him a hug, "It'll be OK. Did that mean ol' Brian hurt your feelings?"
*Sniffle* "Yup, he did." *Sniffle*
"Brian, see what you did to poor lil' Chesy pooh bear?" AJ asked sarcastically.
"I'm sorry Chesy pooh bear." Brian replied in the same manner and walked over to them. Chesa dug her head in AJ's shoulder and pretended to cry. Chesa
then pulled away from AJ, fixed her hair, stuck her nose up, and walked away.
"Where are you going?" Brian asked.
"I'm not talking to you." Chesa replied, snobbishly. Brian and AJ chuckled.
Chesa walked out onto the roof and saw Nick trying to teach Amber the correct way to punch.
"What are you two doing here?! This is my spot!" Chesa told them sarcastically.
"Sorry!" Amber replied playfully.
"Well, I see you two are having a good time, so I'll go now." Chesa stated and left.
"Bye." they called after her. Chesa went down to her room and turned a random song and CD. "Show Me The Meaning" blared from her three disc changer. Chesa was in a dancing mood, so just out of the blue she just started dancing. Chesa leapt from the ground and did a chene` turn. When the CD totally ended, Chesa took out a sheet of music and began to sing.

So far that is all she had written. She wasn't quite pleased so far, but for now it was acting like a skeleton for a song. She began to sing again when Brian crept in silently. She didn't notice him at first until he gently sat down on her bed, staring at her.
"Does AJ know how well you can sing?" He asked as she turned around.
"Oh, that isn't good! I just wrote the song yesterday, and I'm not even warmed up!" Chesa objected. Brian looked stunned.
"Chesa, you are really talented!" Brian told her.
"Thanks, but you don't have to compliment me for a kiss." Chesa replied.
Brian smiled. "I knew that already."
"What?" Chesa asked sarcastically, "Are you saying that you feel that I would let you drool all over my face anytime you pleased?"
"Yup." Brian replied. Chesa smiled sheepishly.
"Shh. Don't tell anyone." She asked as Brian scooted close to her.
"Sing for me." Brian urged. Chesa shook her head.
"Na."
"Com'mon. Sing your song for me....please???" Brian begged. Chesa rolled her eyes and picked up the paper, she then began to sing. Chesa could feel
Brian's eyes on her every move. She didn't mind it before, but now she was singing, and she felt uncomfortable, as if they hadn't even established a
relationship and Chesa still had a school-girl crush on him.
