"Com'mon guys! Hurry up!" AJ exclaimed as he raced down with his luggage at BWI airport in Washington, DC, all of the guys groaned as they tried to
keep up.
"AJ, man, wait up!" Howie called after him. AJ abruptly stopped and gazed around as they guys caught up. They all looked around, trying to figure out
what AJ was looking for.
"What are you looking for?" Kevin asked.
"The Wendy's." AJ replied, still gazing around.
"Bone, man, the Wendy's is further up." Brian told his band mate, and shifted his duffel bag from one shoulder to the other. AJ immediately took off down
the main hall of the airport.
"AJ, why the hurry?" Nick asked dodging people, and trying to keep up with AJ's fast pace.
"Because Chester is picking us up." AJ replied, not slowing up.
"Yeah, we know. You've barely told us anything about Chester. What's so important that you have to get us back in shape for the Olympics?" Nick asked
again.
"I've known Chester forever. Seems like it has been that long since we've seen each other." AJ told them. He saw the Wendy's, and he would have broken into a sprint, if he didn't have his luggage to carry.
A girl was leaning against the wall. She had on wide-leg jeans, a 49's jersey, and sunglasses. She gazed around for a moment, then when she spotted
the guys her mouth dropped and she ripped off her sunglasses. She started to jog over.
"Oh, great, we've been spotted!" Brian exclaimed to his band mates.
"AJ?!" The girl exclaimed jogging up.
"CHESTER?!" AJ replied as they gave each other a hug.
"Huh?" The guys asked dumbfounded. AJ and Chester turned to face them.
"Oh, guys, this is my best friend, Chesa Blanton, AKA Chester." AJ introduced her. "Chesa, this is Kevin, Howie, Nick and Brian."
"Hi guys." She greeted as they shook hands.
"AJ, you didn't tell us that Chester was a 'she." Nick scolded AJ, embarrassed as Chesa and he shook hands. All of them, except AJ of course, had been expecting some dude, and more likely than not, one with tattoo's or something like that. Chesa laughed.
"Ah, don't worry! Most people think of me as one of the guys anyway!"
Chesa went to shake Brian's hand, and hesitated for a second; She was stunned for half a second. She then shook his hand a little embarrassed, but trying
her best not to show that she thought he was gorgeous.
"Well, I guess we should get going."" Do you have enough room in your car?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah, cause we can rent another if you don't." Howie offered.
"Na, man! I have Suburban. They are huge. Eight seats, so we will be fine!" She exclaimed, "Thanks anyway."
"No prob." Howie assured. Chesa took Brian's duffel and Kevin's back-pack because they seemed to have the most luggage.
"Here, let me take these." She said and turned to start walking.
"No, no, no. We will take them." Kevin and Brian objected. Chesa turned back around.
"Hey, I'm a big girl. I can handle it." She assured the two gentlemen. They shrugged.
"OK..."
"Still the same old Chester." AJ sighed with a laugh.
"Still the same old AJ, mentally." Chesa told him, walking off.
"Hey! What was that supposed to mean?" AJ called after her, starting to walk.
Everyone chuckled...
"So, how was your flight?" Chesa asked as she drove onto I-495 South.
"Long." Kevin replied.
"Tiring." Howie commented.
"BORING!" Nick exclaimed.
"Well, I thought it was peachy keen." Brian threw in with his best granny impression, Chesa chuckled.
"AJ, what about you?"
"What, can I say? All of the words I was gonna use have been taken!" AJ exclaimed from the passenger's seat.
"They are called verbs deary." Chesa told him.
"Huh? Oh yeah... I see you've been studying?"
"Huh? Man! It is 1999! I graduated college 3 months ago!" Chesa exclaimed.
"Chesa, what did you major in?" Howie asked.
"Performing Arts. But my minor was writing, and math." Chesa replied, "Weird mix, huh?"
"Just a little." AJ replied with a snicker.
"Man! You can't talk! You wanted to be a fire-fighter!" Chesa exclaimed.
Everyone chuckled as AJ blushed slightly.
"Oh, shut-up!" AJ told her.......
