Super Six Motorsports Ported Upper Intake
Another friend who is selling his car sold me this. Not too difficult to install. It took about 3 hours. My friend bought this manifold at a junkyard. It is actually off of a 95, which aparantly has one less vaccum hose. This is easily resolved by purchasing a small amount of rubber hose, a T joint, and a few clamps. Just make sure you reconnect all the hoses when you are done, and don't forget the PCV valve in the very back. The bolts are hard to reach, but using an angle joint on your socket wrench helps a bunch. I noticed a slight improvement in upper rpm pickup, and a slightly lower exhaust tone. When it was on my friend's car (only difference between our cars is his is a 5spd) he claimed good increase in upper rpm pickup, better sound (he has flowmaster rather than mac) and improved gas mileage. I don't really keep track of gas mileage, so I don't know if there is a difference on my car or not.
