Cassie is the lead character of the story
Her mother moved her to New Salem, notably to
Crowhaven Road.
She brought her back to be initiated into the
Secret Circle.
Upon the death of young Kori, Cassie is brought
to the beach, and willingly enters the circle.
Secretly, Cassie is in love with Adam,
who is the boyfriend of Cassie's best friend
and leader of the Coven, Diana.
Cassie and Adam keep their relationship and
brief earlier encounter a secret, but evil
and cunning Faye finds out.
Faye uses this secret knowledge over Cassie
to manipulate her into doing things for her.
Cassie finally reached her breaking point and
tells Diana the truth.
Cassie spends most of the time in the Coven,
feeling she is less powerful, since her mother
was a witch, and her father a human.
They soon find out something greatly different.
Cassie is really stronger than any of them.
Her father John Blake was not a human, but
the most powerful witch of all time...
