"Tis a beautiful site to behold"! "Me with our Irish guide at the Burren" The Burren is not very "Irish" looking a'tall! There are no bogs and very few pastures. Bleak though it may be, it's a very intersting place. And the strange looking rock behind us is actually a tomb where several people were buried long, long ago. "Fort at the Cliffs" This is an ancient fort located on a hill near the Cliffs. It was actually used up until World War I. Today, however, it's a gift shop and for a few Irish pounds one can climb the very narrow spiral staircase to the top for a spectacular view.
