The Buteo' Hawk Tribe Council and members would
like to welcome Diane Buttineau, President of "CMC"
(Canadian Métis Council). Diane along with
Jane Lamondin will be coming down and staying
with our National Council for a two week vacation.
We welcome them with open an open heart.

10th annual Mother's day Pow~wow will be held in
Dade City Florida on Friday 11th through Sunday 13th
Our brothers and sisters will be holding a statewide
meeting for the Métis of Florida on Sunday morning
13th at 10:00a.m. The host of this gathering is
*The Withlacoochee Native American Indian Culture*
The Pow~wow & meeting will be held at the
Withlacoochee River Park east of Dade City
about 45 miles north of Tampa. If you are interested
in attending this event and/or the meeting, please contact
Florida state Vice~Chief: Billy Crazy Squirrel or
Florida state Secretary: Lynn Turtle by e~mail

We would like to wish Diane, President of "CMC"
and Jane a safe and trouble free journey on
thier way back home to Canada. We had a wonderful
and joyfull time with them. They taught us many
things that we will always care in our hearts.
Our Council and members are honored and
always will be honored to call them our Sisters
and we look forward to our next gathering with them.
