sister and Tribal member Amanda. She will be
helping the Creator give life and we are VERY
proud of her. Amanda.....We will always pray
with you, and we will continue to pray for

Fifth Annual Gathering 4 Mother Earth
Honoring Youth & Elders for a Nuclear-Free Future
Saturday August 4th, sunrise to sunset and
Sunday August 5th 'till noon. Things to do will be
Youth Activites, Healing Arts, Drumming Circles,
Relay Run, Bike Tour, Food, Raffle, Seminars, Solar
Technologies, Natural Building, Economic Conversion,
Permaculture, Healing Foods and much more.
It will be held at the "Pojoaque Pow Wow Grounds"
State Road 502, 5 miles west of the Pojoaque
Post Office. (follow the turtles) For more information

Volunteers are Welcomed. (This is a drug and alcohol free gathering)

The Buteo' Hawk Tribe will be having our monthly
trash pick up for the Adopt~A~Highway Program
followed by a cookout and Council meeting
If you wish to help out and eat well Please
contact us at least one week before the date above

The Métis Nation of the United States
National Council will be making a journey to Canada
for the Canadian Métis Council and Britt gathering
leaving on (8~13~01) and returning on (8~18~01).
If any MNUS members wish to join them, please contact
the National Office. All are welcome. This will be a
MAJOR gathering. Many other Métis Nations will be
attending this event. This is a combination of "Fun, Learning,
Singing, Dancing, Food & Family Socializing". The
Buteo' Hawk Tribe would like to wish the National Council
and anyone that will be joining them a safe and trouble
free journey on there way to Canada and back home again.
