As I fall down,I land in a sea of tears: An all encompassing sarrow, That tares at my flesh like radiation. Illuminate the possibilities, Ultimately there is only one. Some reach it brfore others, Some are thrown into it, Some aimlessly wander until it takes hold. Which am I? I don’t know, for I have celophane for eyes; Eyes clouded by the loss of life. I want to feel the warmth, But all I feel is numbness. I want to see the world, to save myself time, I pluck out my eyes. Now I can only feel: a pain unfathomable. I’m chilled to the bone. For now I know this is real. Ring around your lovers hand, Pocket filled with unfullfilled desire, Man with scabbed wings. Ashes, ashes, We all fall down, Back into the depthless sea of tears. That ultimate sarrow Burns my flesh like radiation, What has caused this inflection? “What’s that?” You need to use projection, Ashes! Ashes! WE! ALL! FALL! DOWN! |
