Steves Fans- A short interview with Mary

1. How long have you been a fan of Steves?

I have been a fan of Steve's since the Nashville
Convention in 94 when I met him by accident.

2. How many times have you been able to "meet" Steve
and how was your experiences?

I met him by accident three of the four times we
talked, and each time he was so sweet and polite. He
made me feel like he was really interested in what I
had to say.


3. Do you have a favorite memory of your time with Steve?

Well, the last time I met him it was at the book fair,
and for all the other times I had never had my camera.
this time I was ready for him. I waited until the end
of the event when he was helping his fan
club people clean up. I walked over and introduced
myself, again, and said may I have my picture taken
with you? He got the most pained expression on his
adorable face, paused, and by now I am thinking what
is wrong. He replies, sure, but could you wait just a
few minutes I really need to go to the men's room
baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. I said sure no problem. He took
off, and I mean I have never seen anyone run that
quick to the facilities. As it was I couldn't wait any
longer my ride was there and since I needed help to
get out to the van I had to go right then with my
friend. Another lost picture opportunity.


4. Is there one quality about Steve that you admire the most?

Steve's never ending kindness to his fans is his most
endearing quality to me. He really takes the time to
send get well cards, birthday cards, Christmas
greetings, and even just a note to say hi. He
is never too busy for his fans and he always makes
their experience with him worth remembering.


5. Do you have any words of advice for fans that
would like to meet the cover models/Actors like Steve?

To all the fans who want to meet these great guys and
other stars just keep in mind they are just like us
and are due the same respect we
would want. Don't treat them as a thing but a person. Remember these
guys are people too.
