Generation 1



Nathaniel SKINNER was born August 1826 in Monroe County, Ohio. He married (1) Sarah Ann WILGUS March 15, 1849 in Washington County, Ohio. He married (2) Nancy E. ADAMS February 11, 1890. He married (3) Emily A. CHAPMAN December 4, 1902.

Children of Nathaniel SKINNER and Sarah Ann WILGUS are:

1. Lott SKINNER, born about 1851 in Washington County, Ohio. He married Susan Ann MIDKIFF, the daughter of Jacob MIDKIFF, Sr. and Mary SUTTON, on November 22, 1876 in Jackson County, West Virginia.

2. Malothy SKINNER, born about 1863 in Washington County, Ohio. He married Emma M. STANLEY February 22, 1885 in Jackson County, West Virginia. He married Julia A. DAVIS December 23, 1886 in Jackson County, West Virginia.

3. Ellsworth SKINNER, born about 1865.

4. Olly Dice (Olive) SKINNER, born about 1868. She married Marion Clark STANLEY April 29, 1888 in Jackson County, West Virginia.

5. Nancy SKINNER, born about 1871.

6. James SKINNER. He married Jennie CAMPBELL February 25, 1875.

7. Permelia SKINNER.

8. Thomas Jefferson SKINNER was born 1856 in Marietta, Washington County, Ohio. He married Minerva Jane STANLEY March 2, 1876 in Jackson County, West Virginia. He died 1934 at Gay, West Virginia.

9. Mary E. SKINNER. She married J. B. BALSER March 24, 1892.

Generation 2



Lott SKINNER was born about 1851 in Washington County, Ohio. He married Susan Ann MIDKIFF , the daughter of Jacob MIDKIFF, Sr. and Mary SUTTON, on November 22, 1876 in Jackson County, West Virginia. It is suspected that Lott SKINNER died before 1899 as his wife, Susan SKINNER, remarried Sylvanus Sanford HOXIE on November 20, 1899.

Children of Lott SKINNER and Susan Ann MIDKIFF are:

1. William or Osmond F. SKINNER, born 1868 in Ohio.

2. Florence E. SKINNER, born about 1877 in Jackson County, West Virginia. She married Jonathan Ellsworth EVILSIZER on October 28, 1896 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia.

3. Blanche Lenora SKINNER, born December 23, 1879 in Sandyville, Jackson County, West Virginia. She married Harry Allen MORRIS February 27, 1897 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia. Blanche MORRIS died December 26, 1959 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia.

4. Mary Evelyn SKINNER, born June 16, 1884 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia. She married Thomas Joseph KILLORAN February 9, 1911 in Wood County, West Virginia.




Generation 3



Blanche Lenora SKINNER, born December 23, 1879 in Sandyville, Jackson County, West Virginia. She married Harry Allen MORRIS, the son of William Morris and his wife Emily, on February 27, 1897 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia. Blanche MORRIS died December 26, 1959 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia, and is buried with her husband and son in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sistersville, West Virginia.

Children of Blanche Lenora SKINNER and Harry Allen MORRIS are:

1. Hazel Marguerite MORRIS, born September 1897 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia. She died September 1897 in St. Marys, Pleasants County, West Virginia.

2. Ralph Willard MORRIS, born May 28, 1899 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. He married Barbara. He died January 14, 1970 in Port Townsend, Jefferson County, Washington.

3. Guy Allen MORRIS, born April 8, 1901 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. He died March 20, 1966 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

4. William Henry MORRIS, born February 14, 1903 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. He died August 1925 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. William Henry MORRIS is buried with his parents in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sistersville, West Virginia.

5. Charles Roland MORRIS, born June 14, 1905 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. He died May 26, 1992 in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida.

6. Karl Elwood MORRIS, born January 16, 1907 in Sistersville, Tyler County, West Virginia. He died 1980 in Garwood, Union County, New Jersey.
