The Body Restoration of My 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix

Driver's side quarter in primer and looking good! The next two are shots of the rust free hood that I got a really good deal on. It came on a parts car that also has the original and running 400 with 83,000 miles and a factory AM/FM Stereo radio that works. Cost was $500 for the car.

Here is a couple of primer shots of the passenger side quarter installed on my car. Got rid of a lot of rust and damage with this one.

These are several shots of the body with some color on it. This will be block sanded to further straighten the sheetmetal. I really like this Bermuda Blue! This is the car's original color, but it has been many years since it wore this hue.

The first photo shows the rear deck filler panel and top of pass quarter. These pieces went together great. The second photo is my car sitting outside waiting its turn for some more block sanding.

A shot of the pass quarter and the hood. The sheetmetal is getting really straight now. Its going to be a real looker!
