day of the dotolder pete plot pete uses the fighting squids marching band's place in the state championship to declare his love for ellen. younger pete plot stu, heartsick over his breakup with sally kenorp, takes pete and all the kids on an hours-long tour of their relationship's milestones. pete has to come up with a plan to get them back together. enemies james markel jr, who threatens pete's relationship with ellen. younger peteisms "deal with it, dipwad! take us home!"
