People look to the flesh and grab
at what they feel love is.
There are so many broken relationships
due to what their arms touch
isn’t what their eyes looked upon.
I’ll admit that I have looked and wondered
with my eyes a time or two; but,
I always knew there was something more to it all.

Then I found something more to hold onto; because,
I found the most beautiful and exciting person in the world.
I saw you with the true eyes of my heart.
Even though I long day and night
to hold you in my arms and look into your eyes,
my heart has already seen
the most special part of you.

Your heart has given me something to believe in
and to give my love unconditionally to that
it will always give you something to hold onto
