My Last Year of College....

Who would've thought I'd make it this far? Well...I guess everyone, right? :-) It's hard to believe I'm almost done with college. Although the time has flown by, I feel like so much has happened. I think back to my freshman year and I look at the pictures on my webpage, and I think "Wow!" I've done a lot of changing and growing up...learned a lot of things these last four years. I've met so many great people and made so many memories that will be embedded in my mind forever.
This new addition to my webpage will probably take some time doing mainly b/c I have to gather up pictures and get them scanned and get them put up on the site. I want to make sure I include everyone in my UNCG family that hasn't been mentioned yet. You all are very special to me. I don't know what I would've done without your love and support throughout my years at UNCG. It's hard to believe our time is coming to an end. I love you all dearly.

I think I'm going to start with a few random pictures that I found...a couple were taken last year and a couple were taken during the summer....



So last year in our math methods class, we had to take a trip to the Asheboro Zoo. Don't ask why we went to the zoo for math...we just did. Well, here's Jordan, Jennifer, Jessica, and Caroline. Can you guess what animal they're pretending to be? :-)



We took a trip to visit Michele in Wilmington after her surgery in June. Here's me, Amanda, and Michele taking a quick dip in the pool on a hot, summer day.



Amanda was still across the hall in this pic...it was one of the first pics she took with the new glasses. It's actually one of my favorite pics of me and Amanda.



Yes...those are nametags...why? Because we're at senior conference for Teaching Fellows...the last summer activity we ever have to do for TF!! Here's me, Jessica, Jennifer and Cherrita..




So 2001 was a year for weddings. Three of my best friends got married. I was supposed to be a bridesmaid in all three weddings but decided to just do two. Needless to say I have a nice beginning collection of bridesmaid dresses. :-) Jennifer and Mike from home got married in June. Then the wedding I think we were all waiting for was April and Jonathan's in October. They did a wonderful job decorating. The wedding was just...perfect. And then to finish the year off, Jessica and Luke decided to move their wedding date up from June 2002 to December....another wedding we had all been waiting to see. After last year, I was worn out on weddings. Thank goodness nobody else is getting married for another year or so! :-) Anyhow...here's a few pictures that were taken at these special occasions.





On the left, there's me and April before we started getting ready for the big wedding! On the right, is me and Jonathan. I had to steal one last picture with the groom before he officially became April's husband. He's become like a brother to me.I love y'all, April and Jonathan!

There's Erika, Michele, and Thomas..we never should have let them sit together. I know everyone around us had to be thinking we were crazy.


We finally got the bride to come talk to us and Thomas had to go and attack her.
