I lay awake
here at night
are these thoughts true?
maybe, they just might

so many things said
so many things thought
over and over they play
everything, comes to a halt

I can not feel my heart beat
my breathing, completly gone
it's all so slow, yet so fast
hard to believe, it's already dawn

just to hear her voice
the sweet melody
has fate ordaned soulmates?
with a life togeather, soon to be?

how else could this have happened?
two that have never met
share such strong feelings?
fate seems like the only bet

this love that I feel
I'm so unsure what to do
all I know, is to follow my heart
nothing, has ever felt so true

to be with her is what I need
a need I can not forget
yes, it seems as great pain
but to turn, greater pain would hit

just follow my heart
is how I truly feel
just to be hand in hand
would mean such a great deal
