MONUMENT VALLEY
No place better represents the mythology of the american West than Monument Valley. Director John Ford used this magnificent landscape in several of his finest films icluding the SEARCHERS, STAGECOACH, MY DARLING CLEMINTINE, and SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON. Situated on the Arizona/Utah border the valley is part of the Navajo nation, and remains much as it did during the days of the wild west.
