16 Pounds of Pet started in the Fall of 1997. But at that time, it was known under
the name of Catharsis. The only difference being that there was no consistent Bassist.
That position has been a revolving door since the band started, but it seems to be consistent
now with Alex and Patrick switching to play Bass when the other is playing Guitar.
The band really doesn't have a lead man, so to speak, because all 3 members of the band are
involved in all of it's dealings, so hopefully that will reduce the chance of having an inter-band
power struggle that so many rock bands have to deal with.
