Timber stared emotionlessly out the car window. You're letting him win, you know, she thought to herself. "Dammit," she cursed out loud as she was cut off. "Damned student drivers. I'm glad I never was one."

She stood there in the line, as a small, timid looking girl asked her what time it was.
"It's about 15 'til," she said impatiently.
The small girl then asked her another question. "Are you one of thier girlfriends?!"
I used to be, she thought. "No. Damned line, I wish it would hurry up."

"You're so cute, Topher," she whispered in his ear.
"I know it. You are too," he replied.

But that was a long time ago, Timbs.
He'd made her feel significant and healed the wounds her parents and other family and past relationships of the past had caused. He'd listened to her long nights on the phone when she was slipping, cutting herself, and he had to be at the studio at five the next morning. He'd made her un-lonely, and given her a friend. Someone to confide in. Someone to bring her peace and wipe her tears away. Someone to give her hope, and someone to catch her when she started to slip or fall.

"Thank you," she replied, as Joey slid her CD to Justin who was sitting next to him. He signed it, then passed it to Lance, then JC, then Chris. Chris looked up, and said "I didn't think you'd come."
"I did."
"Do you wanna meet somewhere later, talk or somethin'?"
"Sure."
"We're staying a— I'll come by and pick you up later."
"Same place," she said as she was rushed off the platform.
