Welcome to Northwood Ranch!

What's up at Northwood Ranch?

Okay, let's start with your journey at Northwood Ranch. My ranch is brand new, so here are many new friends to meet.
First of all, I would like to present you the horses that live here. They are all Breyers, because these are the model horses I love best. I got my first one when I was 11. Now I have five stallions, five mares, three two year old colts, two colts, two fillies, and last, but not least three geldings. My horses should all be good allrounders, be calm, easy-going and partners in all situations.

The leading sire is Upon Canyon (Kings go By x Once Upon a Time), a bay Quarter Horse stallion, the OF Traditional Breyer Rugged Lark. He's seven and a half years old and a very good breeding stallion. His specialities are Pleasure, Trail and Superhorse as well as the English classes.
My second stallion is Whata Ginger (Justa Guess x Ginger Pine), a sorrel Quarter Horse with a blaze and three stockings, a repainted Breyer Traditional Stock Horse stallion. I found his parents at the Unchained Melody Farm, go there by the link at the bottom of this page. His specialities are Trail and Halter.
My first mare is a bay Arabian Mare, she's called Fleet Countess Ambrosia (Count Ambrosia x Fleet Goddess), and she already had a foal, a cropout colt, Fleet Star, dun tobiano. Her foal's father is Reachin' for the stars, a Tennessee Walker. She's a excellent Reining horse, but also a great mother to her foal.
My second mare is a real Quarter Horse, she's dark bay with three socks and her name's Zippo Amherst. Her father is the famous Zippo Pine Bar, her mother Time to Zip, also of 'Zippo' blood. She also had one foal, a sorrel tobiano cropout colt. I'm still looking for a good stallion to sire this foal. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have Quarter Horse stallions for breeding.
My third mare is still very young. She's a three year old Quarter mare, but her father is a Thoroughbred. Her name's Truthly (Kanaka x Truly). She's kind of a dark liver chestnut and has four stockings and a blaze. She's now in training, and she's doing well her job and will certainly be a fine Allrounder.
My first yearling is a buckskin Quarter Horse named Lost myTequila, and the second one is grey, also a Quarter, named Snowflake Cyclone.
A Fjord arrived! He's great and I think he'll do well with the others. He is going to be a trail horse I think, but maybe other classes will work fine as well. We'll see. I now found a name for him and he also has a pedigree: Marius is his name and his parents are RES Sven and RES Mid's Cinnamon, both owned by Rainbow's End Stables.
And other lots of new horses are now standing at Northwood Ranch: A bay Pintabian stallion called Goldophin Eyecatcher, he is really breathtaking. He is an OF1999 Spring Show special and really, really beautiful!
Then I bought his son, the 1999 classic bay Pintabian, called Eyecatchin' Seigneur, he is the absolute copy of his father! His mom is a purebred Arab named Demoiselle.
And I also bought a strawberry roan Saddlebred mare, the OF Burnt Sienna, and I call her, 'cause of her color, Lady Shaded Mask. She will be open for breeding this year. Keep your eyes on her!
And my greatest crack is here now also: A Zippo Pine Bar son named Cadet Zipper! Look for him in the S/D List.
New arrivals in the breeeding area also: La TNT, a grey Quarter Horse mare (Tonto Nance (r) x La Rancha Barbie (r)) with her twin fillys Amber TNT and Cadet Autumn (both by Cadet Zipper). La TNT will be available for very limited years! Take this chance!
And y'know what? She's here. Silver Goodnight, a grey Thoroughbred mare, a full sister to Silver Charm, and her foal, Extreme Bojangle!
And again a new arrival: El Estacado, an Azteca. Watch for him at the S/D list!

Ya like my stallions, Goodnight, Lady and TNT? Well, then breed them to your horses! You can visit my S/D list by clicking here.
Or you can read how to create your own S/D list by clicking here.

Whata Ginger is also my first repainted model and it came out great for my first job. I'll show him this summer at a few photo shows, maybe that the judges like him too.
My new model is now repainted into a beautiful, stunning black QH stallion. He looks quite like a Thoroughbred, 'cause one of his parents is one. He has a star, star, a snip and four pasterns. He's also open for breeding!
The next repainting project will be the repainting of the American Appaloosa Stock Horse into a grey Camargue gelding.
