ARCHANGEL'S TEACHINGS
STEPHEN'S REVELATION
~ PRESENTED BY ~
>>>=THE=GRACE=OF=GOD=IN=TRUTH=>>
The beginning of the revelation of Jesus Christ is the end of the law, and the end of the law is where we start from. Every word, phrase and sentence is taking its rightful place to support all the others that follow line upon line, precept upon precept. The word with its intellectual ostentatious displays both of the old and the new. The word exact, the word precise, dancing together and praising the new beginning to the ultimate reality of God in Christ.
The
apostle Paul begins a special theme to the Corinthian christians by stating
they are his epistle written by the anointing of Christ in his life and
ministry. (Acts 26:14-18) In other words, the apostle is reflecting on
the grace of God in truth given unto him as a "wise master builder." Paul
received the plans and laid the correct foundation as the chief apostle
to the first church age of Ephesus, and the others following his ministry
will continue the construction by building and finishing the "house
of God." But he admonished, "let every man have the correct plans and leadership,
and be very cautious how he builds on this foundation of Jesus Christ."
(1-Cor.3:1-23)
The Corinthian christians were individual epistles of Christ written not
by ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God; not in tables of "stone"
but in "fleshly tables of the heart." This statement can be a 'hard' for
some people to understand. Paul is running a parallel between the covenant
of the law and the dispensation of the marvelous grace of God in truth.
The apostle is not saying the natural hollow organ that keeps blood circulating
in the body by contracting rhythmically has in its inner wall the law itched
indelibly. No! He is stating the realization that the individual christians
had received Jesus Christ in the power of his Spirit of truth and liberty
in the regeneration of their spirit-intellect.
The elect of the Gentiles were christians because Saul had been called
to be the apostle of the Gentiles (Eph.3:4-11), and a minister of the "new
testament." In truth, it was the 'last will and testament, or the eternal
inheritance of Jesus Christ', the Son of God. There will not be another.
Paul stated emphatically that he was not a minister of the letter or law,
but of the Spirit (Gal.1:6-16): for the letter or law brings death because
of the power of original sin in the people. The words or gospel he preached
with the anointing was Spirit and life, and all who received the word received
Jesus Christ in the form of his Spirit of truth and liberty. (Col.1:25-29)
Paul does not say the glorious law was a mistake, but necessary to salvation,
and this is seen in the realization that the children of Israel under the
law only saw the "glory of God" in the cloud, on the mount, and the tabernacle.
Notice, if you please, the scripture says the Lord spoke to Moses "face
to face." But Mose talked to, and listened to the "pillar of a cloud" standing
at the door of the tabernacle, and not face to face with God.
Think with me about Moses as a type of Jesus Christ. He is on the mount
(Sinai) and he is beholding the "glory of the only wise and true God Elohim-Jesus."
At this moment, Moses is beholding the "glory of God hid in a pillar of
a cloud, and he desires to see what, or who is inside of that cloud. The
Lord says he will make his goodness pass before Moses and will proclaim
the "name of the Lord to Moses, and I will be gracious to whom I will be
gracious, and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, but you 'cannot
see my face', for no one can see and live. But there is a place by me,
and you shall stand upon a 'rock.'
Mose was put in the clift of the rock and covered with the hand of God
while the Lord passed by. And when the Lord removed his hand Moses say
the 'back parts' of the theophany of God. Mose was in the clift of the
rock, and this reveals he was a chosen person, and he saw the back of God
which reveals he was ordained for the dispensation of the covenant of the
law.
When Moses, now as a type of Jesus Christ came down from the mount, the
people could not see the 'face of Moses' for the glory of his countenance,
which is the glory of the letter or law which was to be done away for the
people in the church. Moses, a type of Christ, put a veil, a type of the
law, over his face so the people of Israel could not see to the end of
the law which was to be abolished in Christ. The minds of the elect of
Israel was blinded to the face and reality of God, except those ordained
to become the church or body of Christ on the day of Pentecost and later.
Stephen when he was being eaten alive and stoned by the Libertines and
Cyrenians received a vision and remarked, behold, I see heaven opened and
see the glory of God. The glory of God is the pillar of a cloud that Moses
saw on the mount. Stephen continues, and Jesus standing on the right hand
of God. Again Stephen said, I see heaven opened and the Son of Man (the
God-prophet) standing on the right hand of God. What a beautiful and glorious
revelation of the only wise and true God Jesus Christ. The apostle wrote
that Jesus Christ is the 'brightness or the expression" of the glory of
God or that pillar of a cloud (Heb.1:1-3). Jesus Christ is God expressed
from within that cloud so all his people can see him "face to face" by
divine intellectual relevation.
To whom is the right arm of the Lord revealed, or who receives the revelation
of Jesus Christ through the hand or word that covers you in the clift of
the rock. The elect of God receives their calling and the revelation through
the fingers of the hand or five-fold ministry ordained for the church dispensation.
(Isa.53:1-12)
There is no veil of the law to blind our minds (open face) to the reality
that Jesus Christ is God expressed to play the supporting role of the Son
of God for our redemption as sons and daughters of Elohim-Jesus our Father.
And since Jesus Christ is not a glorified person any more (2-Cor.5:14-17),
he is the Spirit and power of our new God-life. And in the progressive
process of restoration as we behold the revelation of the God that resides
within each of us, we will be restored completely as sons and daughters
of God, and then the Sonship of Christ will be complete. (1-Cor.15:22-29)
