This review is going to be short. Why? Because when a game is as bad as Off-Road Challenge, it doesn't deserve the space on my website. I am reviewing it though, so anyone who reads this won't make the drastic mistake of renting this game. Where do I start off? The graphics arent bad, I'll say that, but what is terrible is the horrendous framerate. It must be running at 15 FPS. It's terrible. That alone really makes the game suck, big time. The frame rate is so bad that it actually gives you a minor headache when looked at long enough. Another bad thing abou the graphics is the way your car never really looks as if it is off road. You can hit a bump only to soar right over it instead of your car jumping off it. The sound is even worse than the graphics. All the trucks sound the same, just like 50 cc dirtbikes. The music is something that will make any player hit the mute button on his or her TV. That pretty much sums up the sound FX category. The control is very arcade-like. That can be good in some cases, but not in this one. This is suppose to be an off-road game. But that really isn't evident here. Every car handles exactally the same. Every bump or hill you go over really doesn't pose a challenge, it is merely a distraction. The control really stinks. There is no replay value. In conclusion, I would like to apologize to anyone coming to this review hoping for a page long description of the game. I can't believe how in one week, Midway releases a fabulous game like Mortal Kombat 4, and the next week release a piece of trash like this. It really boggles my mind. Stay away from this game.

Pluses--------->very very very average graphics.
Minuses--------->average graphics suck, terrible sound, slow frame rate, even slower two-player mode, small # of tracks and trucks, lousy control.
I gave this game a 3 out of 10!
