Have you ever been so happy about something it drives you crazy?? Dude, yesterday (033100) was like that. It had been a week since i heard that the Boys would be here, so I was listening to 107.1 FM to hear the time they would. Finally I heard 7 'til mid-night and freaked, it was 5 hours away. Jumping around the house excitedly shouting "SEVEN TIL MIDNIGHT SEVEN TIL MIDNIGHT" (after I had just finished a track workout!), I'm sure the neighbors thought I had gone crazy. If not then, it was in shouting "DIE DIE DIE" during the n sync song that played soon (i have very low feelings for that group for personal reasons) that people were convinced I lost my head. So, 4.5 hours later I found out it wasn't ALL the Boys, only NICK!! And this happened to be while I was just getting ready to eat dinner. I couldn't sit still and for the second time got lightheaded from hyperventalating and was extreamly slap-happy [until 7 when Nick came on the radio!]. 15 minutes later my sister was forcing me (although not against my will) to call in. I was so nervous/happy that I was hyperventalating (again) and shaking crazily. My sister had thought I had lost my mind (well....i had!!) Before making the call, I left a nearly hysterical message on my friend's answering machine about it, leaving her with the thought I was crazier than I had been at the concert!

So anywayz, Nick aka Kid Nicky tied the usual DJ to a chair with duct tape...LOL. I called it and after an hour got through to the receptionsit and my shy side showed and i FREAKED OUT, hanging up; didn't get through the rest of the night! :( But I had fun listening. Other people's comments ranged from "Oh my God" (Is that the phrase of the night?) to "How can we get these girls to speak in complete sentences?" (We can't, I'm sorry) and even "What do you think of Brian's girlfriend/finacee LeighAnne Wallace?" (no comment). And their old percussionist dude called in even!

The first sign that Nick (sorry, Kid Nicky) had lost his head was when he was singing randomly after a song finished...then he lost his mind and decided to send some guys from the band he's managing ("Born into Kaos") to Victoria's Secret to try on/buy dresses (just-don't-ask!). Talking to them over the phone, he started laughing so hard it was like he couldn't breathe. It was SO FUNNY! Despite a few crude comments, it was a good 5 hours hearing Kid Nicky talk (*SIGH*).

I'd have to say the funniest part, by far, was his ("prank" – totally fake) phone call to "Britney Spears". He had gotten her number from "someone" (anonymous..REALLY!) and called, but "Britney" didn't answer...some guy named "JUSTIN" did! (supposed to be Justin Timberlake?) Nick was like "Hi, this is DJ Kid Nicky, who is this?" Justin was like "Hi, who?" "Yo, dawg, Kid-Nicky. Kid Nicky." and to the other people in the studio "I think its Justin, I think its Justin" then back into the phone, as Justin was asking "Yo? Dawg? Kid Nicky?", Nick asked "Is Britney there?" And so Britney gets on the phone, "Hello, who is this?" And after Nick repeated "Kid-Nicky" multiple times, she started whining "Justin, what is this?" After a couples "how'd you get this number"s, she hung up on Nick (y?!). Well it was a set up, but funny!

One of Nick's random comments was "Kiss 107 FM ... how many times have I said that tonight?" LOL I didn't much care that I hadn't gotten to talk to him...the cool thing was that he was on the radio! (Worst part of the nite...WILLA DORK was there w/ him! :-( and she was kinda mean 'bout the fanz outside the building...)
