Ed Augutter; AKA "Auger"
Character Bio:
A distinguished archeologist, Auger is responsible for constructing the Earth Corps specialized suits and vehicles.
Auger looks like a pissed off version of Mr. Clean. He prefers action to words and has a tendency to be rather impulsive, taking unnecessary risks. Auger has difficulty controlling his anger, and has to express it in order to cool off (this is usually done by throwing a shoe through a television). He never holds back an opinion, and enjoys giving others a piece of his mind.
When constructing the Earth Corps technology, Auger often makes modifications to Dr. Bright’s equipment designs without telling him.
Exploration Suit Specifications:
Appearance:
Auger’s suit is purple with a blue waist. The helmet is red and purple with a red spike extending from both sides and a rectangular vision plate. A yellow tube extends from the suit’s chest to the middle of the waist(The tube was meant to be a respirator unit, but Auger changed the design). The suit’s elbows have shock coils that serve as shock absorbers.
Weapons/Equipment:
A multi-functional drill unit is attached to the suit’s right arm. It serves as a combination drill, buzz-saw, jackhammer, chisel, grenade launcher and battering ram, and can penetrate virtually any substance. Grenades are stored behind the suit’s chest plate. Like all of the exploration suits, it maintains a steady internal environment and is able to withstand a great deal of external conditions such as extreme temperatures and pressure variations. The helmet’s vision plates are equipped with a built-in light.
