The Carolina Wrestling Federation, under the FWA Carolinas banner, returned to Graham on June 23rd with their "Final Cut" supershow headlined by WCW talent, former OMEGA standouts, SCW superstars, ECPW champions, and much more.

The show opened with Commissioner Eddie Gilchrist announcing that due to business with the upcoming WCW relaunch, "Sugar" Shane Helms was unable to make it to the show in Graham, but would be replaced in the main event by his off-again on-again partner, Shannon Moore. Helms' scheduled opponent Cham Pain was not overly pleased with this, but remained confident as always in his abilities.

Sexton Tyler pinned Nemesis following a hooking reverse neckbreaker coming off the second rope. The highlight was Caprice 'Ice' Coleman dancing with Nemesis before the match, though both guys hit some nice spots and Nemesis got a good reaction from the crowd.

The $outh$ide Playas and Nite-Stic Eddie Brown defeated Los Latinos Locos and Playboy Bert Tripp in six-man tag action. LA Ca$h made it a point to question whether or not the Latinos were in this country legally before the match and brought out Nite-Stic hoping he would act as an immigration officer for the night. The Latinos responded by bringing out Playboy Tripp and the six-man tag was on. Great work from Nite-Stic and the Playas, including a gorgeous delayed vertical suplex by Brown, where he held up Tripp practically forever. Tripp was sent over the top rope straight to the floor on more than one occasion, and while outside, took a pounding from the Playas as well. Eventually, Nite-Stic pinned Tripp after a spinning doctor bomb. Good match.

Veteran competitor Lelani Kai was out next to take on Amber Holly. The end came when Holly surprised Kai with a sunset flip and cradled her for the pinfall to advance in the ongoing CWF Women's Title tournament.

ECPW Heavyweight Champion "Iceman" Joe Storm made an appearance and basically stated that no one in the world has what it takes to take the title from him. Jeff Justice seemed to take offense to this on his way to the ring to challenge CWF Champion Madd Maxx. Towards the end of the match, Storm made an attempt to run in with a chair, but the referee prevented him from doing so, and the chair was passed to Justice, who walked into a dropkick from Maxx while holding the chair and was pinned.

Mikael Yamaha defeated Gemini Kid in a Hair vs Hair match, after a controversial reverse decision. Gemini had originally pinned Yamaha, but before they could get to shaving Yamaha's head, the decision was overturned, and Yamaha rolled Gemini up for the pin. After the match, a disgruntled Gemini said that since his manager/agent Rusty James had signed the contact, they should shave HIS head and Kid made a getaway. Yamaha and Amber Holly shaved the head of Rusty James.

In the main event, Cham Pain pinned Shannon Moore in a great match-up. After several minutes of great back-and-forth action between the two stars of the independent scene, Pain came off the ropes, flipped over Moore and caught the WCW star in the Pain Killer for the victory.
