One cannot imagine the very different ways people get to know one another. It can be a brief introduction at a party, a quick stop at the supermarket, an office encounter, a friend's reference, etc. etc. etc.. The internet for me has been an extremely useful and surprising way to establish links with people that, otherwise, would have been very difficult to get in touch with. The internet allowed me to get a job outside my country of origin (Mexico), get in touch with some friends from different stages in my life, get to know people in my proffesional field, keep in contact with my family and friends around the world. I share here some of my interests and experience with hope to keep on creating new links or serve as a way to help people with similar interests to create their own.

Traveling is one of the most wonderful experiences one
can have. When we grow we get the idea that the world around us is the 'standard'
and that our point of view is widely understood. Traveling changes all this.
Seeing the world and getting to know other people's culture and traditions also
enriches our lives as we get to see everything from a very different perspective.
It impacts all our senses in a way we can not imagine: what we hear, eat, smell,
feel, think, etc. being different gives us an oportunity to complement what
our environment does not provide or value much more what we do have.
I share some experiences about some of the trips I have made including some
curious facts, anecdotes, etc. Photograps included!

I love sports but spend my energy practicing them more than watching on TV, which is not something I particularly enjoy unless it is the World Cup or the Olympics.
I really love martial arts and running. I enjoy competing on 5 km races. The last events where I participated are below. In some of them you can follow the links to see results and photographs.
