This is a game that makes most others look like crap.
This game had so much hype that it even outsold the movie
G.I. Jane. It has grossed more money than any game in
history, and has brought a major RPG influence to America.
It has turned many heads, and you'd have to be stupid to
not recognize the name "Final Fantasy 7" and call yourself
a gamer. Just read the reviews....
Nightshadow's Comments
Here it is, the most awesome game I've ever seen. The
only reason I won't give this a ten, is because I'm sure
that the next one will be even better. This game is a
prime example of what a game should be in terms of the
effort and time that was put into it. If every game Nightshadow's Rating: 9.5

This is it! THE flat out best RPG that I have ever seen
in my life.
I kind of felt intimidated at first by the sheer size of
the game. I was
afraid that I would lose interest in it before I Cloud's Rating: 10

was
worked on as hard as this one, I would have no complaints
(or only a few) about a lot of the games that come out.
The cinematics are and graphics are stunning!! Another
plus that attracted me to this game is the fact that it's 3
CDs long.
The story line is also the best one in my
opinion, to ever grace a video game. If you call yourself
an RPG fan, you are STUPID not to buy this one. Even if
RPGs aren't exactly your favorite, you will probably like
RPGs a lot more than before. The game has 9 characters,
and each of them have a unique personality that stays with
them throughout the game. One of my favorite characters is
Vincent Valentine. He is the Magus of Final Fantasy 7.
One Great thing about this game is the Espers!!, and just
the magic in general. Never before has magic in an RPG had
such a creative layout, and such good-looking effects.
This is possibly the best game ever made. Don't be
stupid, just buy it!
completed
it. Boy was I wrong!
I was totally sucked into it. Even after I beat it, I am
still trying to accomplish
all of the extra tasks and have been playing the game for
100+ hours! I enjoyed
this game so much for many reasons, here are a few of them.
I was totally
envolved in the story line. A lot of the game
implemented
lengthly dialouge
boxes in the story. This might turn off younger gamers,
but it just made me
more interested in the story. The battle engine is sheer
perfection. I uses
ATB (Active time battle) this is the closest you can get to
having a real time
fight. Each character has a time bar, when this fills up,
you can attack however
you choose. Also, everytime you sustain damage, a little
meter called your
limit break begins to fill up. The more damage you sustain,
the more the meter
fills up. When the meter is full, you can unleash a
devastating attack on your
opponent. This engine can be modified to turn base as well
for all you wimps!
Another reason that I liked this game was the story. It has
everything you want,
plot twists, romance, mystery, suspense, you name it, FFVII
has it! I really
felt that I could identify with the characters, and when
something happened to
one of them, I felt that it was happening to me. Also,
this game has one of
the coolest villains in RPG history, his name is Sephiroth.
He is a mysterious
and extremely powerful warrior. Throw in flawlessly
rendered backgrounds, beautifully
animated characters, and a solid controll system, and you
get a perfect example
of a 10! If you have a decent head on your shoulders, you
should already have
this game in your library.
