Wild Arms is one of those games
that is really good, but adventually gets blown away by the
game that everyone is really anticipating (in case you
didn't know, Final Fantasy 7). It is very unique in it's
fighting system, and has a lot to keep you going. It is
possible to go through the game and still miss a lot of key
things that really make the game a success.

Wild Arms is a great Game. It has
many places to go, and like many RPGs, you adventually get
something that let's you fly everywhere and see everything.
My main complaint is the fact that there are only 3
characters. Once you get used to the fighting system,
you'll realize that you could've handled more characters in

Wild Arms strays a bit from the traditional RPG; for
better,
and for worse. First of all, the good points. For RPG
terms, I
can't say this game is long, although it's certainly not
short.
It offers a good 40 hours of gameplay. My favorite point of
this
game, although it was frustrating sometimes, was the added

I have to admit, I am spoiled by
Final Fantasy VII,
but I will try to stay as unbiased as I can. When I first
played Wild Arms,
I was amazed. I have to say that for one disc, you got a
lot of gameplay out
of it (about forty hours). Also, one downfall of the game
was the extremely
limited amount of characters. You stayed with the same
three the whole game.
I did like the storyline and how the characters'
personalities develop. There
are also several modes of transportation. Ship, an airplane
with two power
settings, and even a giant stone golem! This was a very

your party. It's still a good game. It has a good 3D
camera when you fight. The angles keep the action looking
fresh. The game will last you probably a good 40 hrs.
Each character can perfrom about 4 different types of
abilities, each ability branching off into multiple types
of attacks you can do. If you've played Final Fantasy 7,
and still want to increase your RPG library, get this one.
Unless you have your heart set on Final Fantasy Tactics.
puzzle elements. It's not uncommon in RPG's, but this one
has a lot
of it. It added more to the game, not just the tradional
"walk
around and talk" format of most RPG's. Now the bad points.
Lack of
characters. I could've hoped for more for them. I got tired
of the
same old characters for forty hours straight, even though
each one
has more attack options then usual; still not enough to
compensate
for this. This is a decent game; a good RPG. Buy this if

interesting aspect of
the game. Also the fighting system was revolutionary.
Although the fighting
was still turn-based, your characters could unlock certain
kinds of attacks
depending on how much damage they sustain. This is in the
fashion of FFVII.
This game was one of the best RPG's I had ever played....
until FFVII came
along. But, that is a whole other review. Bottom line, this
is a good game,
but if you can only buy one RPG, buy FFVII (Can you guess
that I happen to
like FVII?).
