Doane Perry

Jethro Tull: since 1987

Doane Perry is the second American Jethro Tull member in the history of the band. He lives in California. In the age of 18 he decides to become a professional musician, working as a studio and session musician for a broad range of different styles (like Rock, Pop, Jazz, Orchestral, Dance, R&B, Folk, TV and Film scores and every ethnic music ). He played with well known bands and artists, like Marc Cohn, Bette Midler, Lou Reed, Fairport Convention, Laura Branigan, Dionne Warwick, Liza Minelli, Vonda Sheperd, Pat Benatar, Jon Anderson, Kitaro and many others. Currently he works on a album project, which is a tribute to ELP, music for a television series and another music project with Vince DiCola. In his freetime he likes walking with his dog, swimming and eating hot curry dinner.
